Staring at his side features through strands of my hair covering my face as I let time passed by me, easing the boredom I had everytime the lessons got dreading. He was focused on listening to the teacher that he didn't notice my gaze towards him, mainly because when he turned to see me, my head instantly turned to the other side.
Ever since that date, things had gone slower than I thought it would. We begin to chat daily like we used to, but he had been only giving me subtle affection. Maybe he did it because he saw my attitude towards his actions were minimal, but truth is, I'm dying inside. I would feel breathless everytime his face inches away from me, drums could be heard from my heart each time he did spontaneous things, like giving me notes once in a while at class.
"Student Yoo Hera, what's the answer to question no. 13?"
Blinking my eyes a few times as their heads turned towards me, while the teacher intensely stared at me, waiting for me to open my mouth
"Huh? I'm sorry miss, I didn't hear you"
"I ask, what's the answer to question no. 13 in your textbook?" My hands sloppily went through my closed book and hurriedly opened it, eventhough I'm clueless as to which page they're on
"Do you know which page we're reviewing right now? Since all you did was sleeping in my class", Soft giggles could be heard echoing around the squared room as I lowered my head in shame.
The math teacher was never really fond of me, she somehow disliked me for some reasons.
I was actually staring at God's creation, miss stuck up...
"I uhm-"
"36,5"
My head snapped to the owner of that husky deep voice as he lifted his head up, eyes dead staring at the teacher as the other students all whispering stuff to each other
"I'm sorry student Kim Taehyung, what are you-"
"You asked for no.13's answer and it's 36,5. Am I right?" he was crossing his legs cockily as the teacher caught him off guard while eyes vigorously searching for the answer
"Uhm t-the answer is-"
"I'm sorry miss, but I thought since you asked the question, you would already have the answer", the teacher fidgeted a bit as Taehyung smirked, "Or did you do it just to embarrass her?"
"I- uhm- yes that is the answer and we'll be continuing our lesson now"
An instant smile crept on my face as my eyes turned to see Taehyung. He was staring right at me first, which startled me
"T-thank you", I quietly muttered as he flashed his rectangular grin
"You're welcome", he leaned a bit closer, "I hope you're enjoying the view"
I turned sideways immediately while cupping my burning cheeks,
he noticed.
