I was casually playing games on my phone when a text popped up.
From: Kim Taetae I'm at the flower shop :)
I smiled at the text and tapped on my feet in excitement. The whole bus ride became really quick.
I hopped out of the bus and jogged lightly to the flower shop.
"Wait", I stopped myself and searched for my phone inside my bag
No text or call, nothing.
I cheekily smiled to myself as there was no text or call from Jungkook or Bangtan. I admit I was wholeheartedly relieved.
"Now this is the normal Jungkook I know", I turned off my phone and slid it to my pocket
My eyes were set on Taehyung who was kicking a soda can while waiting for me. He was smiling like a little kid, which is adorable.
As usual, his clothing were all black but he never failed to make my heart beat faster. Wait, did I just say that? Forget it.
He didn't notice my presence so I decided to snatch the soda can away from his feet. He snapped his head at me, looking furious until he saw my face.
His face softened as he ruffled my hair, "Late again, as usual"
"Hey, it wasn't my fault! The bus arrived late", I said while fixing my hair
He eyed me up and down while smirking. I scanned myself also and didn't find anything wrong, I think. I was wearing a simple pink crop top and ripped blue jeans paired with white vans, totally normal right?
"What?", I become insecure and covered myself. He then leaned closer and move a strand of hair behind my ear.
"You look gorgeous in pink", he winked at me as my cheeks turned crazy red
"Come on, tomato, we don't have all the time in the world", Taehyung cheekily smirk and gestured me to walk.
Tomato?
I cupped my cheeks and looked at the store window. My cheeks were red like tomato.
"Damn it, Taetae", I ran after him and purposedly hit his arm, hard.
"That hurts!" Taehyung whined in pain as I walked pass him
"That's what you get for messing with me", I turned around and stuck my tongue out to him while walking backwards
Taehyung's eyes suddenly look alarmed. With quick gestures, he pulled me into an embrace as a speeding car passed us by. My eyes widen at how close I was to the car.
"Careful", he looked genuinely concerned and mad at the same time
"Sorry and thanks", I fixed my clothes and looked at him apologetically.
He sighed deeply and ran his hand through his hair. We then walked quietly side by side as he won't spare a glance at me
"I'm sorry. I promised to be careful next time", I poked his arm couple of times before he grabbed my hand and held it tight.
"You scared me", he said with obvious worry im his tone. He squeezed my hand and I can see a hint of rose in his cheeks.
Thousand thoughts crossed my mind at that time, I didn't know what it is, but I remained quiet and only nodded.
