Months after...
The first holiday break for freshmen was here, Everyone who went far in order to pursue education return to their perspective homes and that included Hera
She was really not that fond with the idea of coming back to that forsaken town, but it was Haneul's birthday and she wanted her home,
Heavy-hearted, she packed her bags and for what seemed like forever, she was driving to her memory lane.
"Sis, I'm almost home. Just a couple of miles to go", Hera pressed the phone to my ear as she shrieked in happiness
"Really? Oh my god, I miss you so much! But you're driving so I'm going to hang up, okay? Focus on driving little sis"
Throwing her phone aside in a frustrated manner, she sighed deeply before focusing her eyes on the road
She wasn't the Hera everyone used to know, She barely let her lips curled up into a smile, She never used her energy to laugh on silly jokes, She didn't want to interact with people, She had to fake her worn out emotions and pretended like everything was fine, She was no longer the social butterfly, She was the horrid wallflower.
Her car passed by the supposed pier and she felt nothing. Nothing but hatred.
"Please let this weekend pass quickly", she begged to the heavens, "I can't stand being here for too long"
With that, she pressed the gas and drove off the empty road.

Frustrated sigh was heard as everybody stood up, except for one person. He was clenching both his jaw and fists as the accused, being handcuffed and guarded by two built police, smiled dearly at him
"See you soon, my lovely Taehyung", she tried hard enough to wave but he tilted his head away from her
It was their fifth trial and like usual, it ended with a dead end. Taehyung felt a hand on his shoulder as he looked up,
"You're doing great, buddy. Hang in there, okay? She'll confess soon"
He knew better than to believe Detective Lee's words, so he just snickered angrily at him, "There's no use, she's impenetrable. No matter how many times you used the lie detector or even did electric therapy on her, she'll burn it to ashes"
