Why did it have to be rain?

I was never fond of this particular droplets of liquid water caused by the natural water cycle. The hurdle I had to overcome when it's raining, using an umbrella, sprinting if you're in the middle of the street, and just the laziness that seeped to your skin.

"Sis, what if I stay here all day and watch some dramas?" I plopped on the couch as she eyed me weirdly

"You have school", she looked up to see the clock, "And it's in 30 minutes"

"It's raining", I dramatically cooed to the window that showcased the pouring rain perfectly

"So?"

I scoffed and stood up, "So, my dear sister, it will be too bothersome for me to go to school in this weather, moreover I'm using bicycle now. What if I get sick?"

"There's this invention called umbrella and bus with four wheels", she lightly answered

"That did not change my point", I emphasized my words while crossing my arms, hoping that she'll get what I mean

"Fine, but only this one time"

"YAAAS!" I was cheering loudly until I noticed she was calling someone, "Sis, who are you calling?"

She lifted her index finger in the air in order to shushed me and talked on the phone, "Oh hey sorry to bother you but it's raining and my sister needs a ride"

Here I thought our sister's telepathy thingy worked, look how wrong I am.

"Really? Wah you're the best", she smiled and ended her call, "Be ready, Hanbin is picking you up", she casually stated as my jaw dropped

"That is far from what I mean", I angrily groaned as she laughed

"You skipped school more often now since you broke up with Taehyung and I'm not going to let that happen again", her phone buzzed as an interruption for me, who wanted to defend myself

"He's here, come on", she opened the door and Hanbin was already standing with an umbrella covering his body

"Morning", he sheepishly smiled to Haneul as her lips curled up into a smile as well

This was actually the first time I personally meet Hanbin face to face. Every time he's here, I'm out with Taehyung. But he literally looked exactly like how Haneul described him, very charming.

"Hey Hanbin", I casually stated but Haneul hit my arm, "I mean Hanbin oppa"

"Hey Hera, nice to finally meet you", he was very kind, I get why Haneul's head over heels for him, "You can go to my car first, I'll be heading there shortly", he looked at my sister lovingly and handed me the umbrella

"But you're going to get wet"

"Don't mind me. Little rain won't make me sick", he sincerely uttered as I bowed and thanked him

Running lightly and closing the umbrella as I got inside Hanbin's car, I saw both of them talking so closely to each other with googly eyes

"They'll kiss in 3 2- Ah I missed it", I joked to myself as their lips were attached to each other, "15 minutes before the school gate's closed, wonderful"
