With blurry vision,
And weighted shoulders,
I trudge on.
The heads still screech in my ear,
Pushing and pulling,
Pushing and pulling.
"Don't look," one head says,
"Stay away! Let me out!
Don't look."
It covers my eyes once more,
And I am walking blind.
A pulsing pain erupts in my temple,
As another hand runs through my hair.
"Such an ugly face," the other head grins,
"Such a disgrace."
It runs its second hand up my leg,
"Scurring around all day,
An ungrateful pig!"
Its hand trails up to my stomach,
And clutches my shirt in its claws.
Fingers scrape my skull making me dizzy with pain.
"You're a failure!"
"Don't look at me!" the other head screams,
Trying to pull away from its other half.
"Weakling!" it growls.
Pushing and pulling,
Pushing and pulling.
"Please make it stop," someone whimpers,
And I realize it is me who is speaking,
"Please, I can't take it."
"I want out!"
"Weakling! Disgrace!"
"Anger, kill them! Let me out!"
"Idiot! Failure!"
"Don't look! Don't look!"
"Let them see who you really are!"
"Get away!"
"Coward! You are weak!"
A voice screams over them,
"Just STOP!"
.....
Silence.
