We were still running through the forest to get to the others. It was a beautiful sight. With Aslans magic, the trees were alive. Tree roots were bending to make the run easier, the trees actually looked healthy. It was amazing.

We finally get to the Bermuda river but stay hidden in the trees. Both the telemarine and Narnian armies are waiting on the other side. Lucy and I get off Alsan.

He turns to us. "Be brave, you two. I will be right behind you."

Lucy turns to me and slips her smaller hand into mine.

"Be the lioness Lucy, be brave." I whisper to her.

We walk out and wait by the beach. Lucy draws her dagger and smiles at the soldiers facing her. I look through the soldiers to see if I can spot Ed.

Aslan soon joins us. The Telmarine leader stares more. He looks ahead, and then back.

"Charge!" he shouts.
The Telmarines run towards us. The lion roars and the soldiers stop. The water beneath them starts to act rough. Suddenly, it shoots up and forms the shape of a man. The river-man lifts the bridge and soldiers stumble and fall off. The leader now stood alone on the bridge in the hands of the man. He swings his sword uselessly as the water comes crashing down around him.

I quickly cover Lucy's eyes before she can see the mans final fate.

The Telmarines climb out of the water, handing their swords to the Narnians. Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Caspian kneel before Aslan.

"Rise, kings and queens of Narnia" he says. All but one rise at this. "All of you."

Caspian looks up shocked. "I do not think I am ready."

Aslan smiles at him, "It's for that very reason I know that you are."

I keep glancing at Ed hoping to make eye contact with him. He sees me looking at him and smiles. Before I can make my way over to the Pevensie, music interrupts me.

Several mice walk over to us, with Reep on a mouse-sized stretcher. Lucy gasps and quickly pours some of her cordial into his mouth. He takes in a deep breathe and sits up.

"Oh, thank you, Your Majesty..." Reep says to Lucy. He cuts himself off though when he sees Aslan. "Oh, hail Aslan! It is a great honour to be—"

Reep goes to bow but stumbles slightly. He looks behind and realizes that his tail is missing.

"I am completely out of countenance. I must crave your indulgence for appearing in this unseemly fashion. Perhaps a drop more?" He says looking towards Lucy.

"I don't think it does that" she says.

"You can have a go."

"It becomes you well, Small One" says Aslan.

"All the same, great king, I regret that I must withdraw. For a tail is the honour and glory of a mouse."

"Perhaps you think too much of your honour, friend."

"Well, it's not just the honour. It's also great for balance... and climbing... and grabbing things."

Aslan smiles. The other mice walk forward and draw their swords, holding them to their tails.

"May it please your high Majesty," one of the mice said. "We will not bear the shame of wearing an honour denied to our chief."

Aslan chuckles at this. "Not for your honour, but for the love of your people..."

With that Reeps tail grew back. He looks at it with schock.

"Oh, look! Thank you, thank you, my liege! I will treasure it always! From this day forward, it will serve as a great reminder of my huge humility."

Aslan turns to Lucy and I. "Now, where is this dear little friend you've told me so much about?"

Trumpkin suddenly looks nervous as the two of us point at him. He slowly walks over and bows. Aslan roars and Trumpkin shudders.

"Do you see him now?"

We all laugh.

Whilst everyone is taking weapons and starting to move towards Telmare, I suddenly feel arms wrap around my waist and mouth and pull me into the trees. I struggle to break free but stop when I am turned around to see my so called kidnapper.

Edmund.

He looks like he's trying not to laugh at my fright. "You idiot" I say whilst hitting his shoulder. "Don't scare me like that."

He grabs my hand to stop me from hitting him and laces are fingers together.

"When I saw Susan and Caspian come back earlier without you or Lucy I was so worried. I thought something would happen and I would lose you. I was so happy when I saw you walk out the forrest even if it was to face an army with only a bow and arrow."

I giggle at this. "How worried did you think I was when you fighting in the actual battle itself. But we're ok now, thank Alsan, and Narnians are finally safe. I would say that's mission accomplished".

During all of our words he slightly pushed me back into a tree. His hands have lowered slightly to be rubbing circles into my hips while my hands have slid around his neck.

"Before you rode off, I did promise myself one thing the next time I saw you" he said, lowering his forehead to mine.

"Oh yeah, what's that?" I say cocking my eyebrow.

"I thinks its just easier to show you." And with that he lowered his lips to mine. Finally.
