Phil and Denny checked out of the hotel.  Phil released Craig to put his leather harness on.  He and Denny began their trek to the edge of town.  Phil decided to let all of his Pokemon follow behind him.

"Ok, guys, come on out and get some fresh air."  After releasing his Pokemon he turned to Denny, "Denny, if I have Aura powers, then why have they not appeared before?"

"It usually takes a prick or a lot of focus.  I can supply you with the 'prick' to stimulate your Aura.  Stimulating your Aura will allow your powers to begin to shine."

"So, do I start training tonight?"

"We will stop once we get to a good location, and train for a couple weeks.  This will allow you to get control of your Aura in a calm environment."

"What happens if you lose control of your Aura?"

"Think of Aura as a kind of self-replenishing energy field around every conscious being.  People and Pokemon with a strong enough Aura can project it in many shapes and forms.  It can be quite difficult to control the amount of aura energy put into a task if untrained.  This can lead to you using so much of your Aura that it kills you.  With endurance training most users can use up to eighty percent of their aura without side effects, other than needing a good long nap afterwards.  More than that and you may have health issues.  If you use more that eighty-seven percent of your aura energy, then you are almost guaranteed a slow, excruciating death.  If you use more than ninety percent of your Aura you will die," Denny snaps his fingers, "Just like that,"  Denny continued to explain the ins and outs of Aura Phil's Pokemon had their own discussion.

'Hey, Blazer, why does Phil use you so much?' Jes asked.

'He trusts me.  I have been with him for a long time.  He knows me and I know him.'

'Then why did he use Craig over me in the final turn against Kleve?'

'You suffered in battle last time against him.  Phil will most likely train all of us in the near future.  Phil wants to become the very best.  Enough of this talk though.  I want to get to know you, Craig, and Evie on a more personal level.  Hey! Craig, Evie!  Get over here.'

'What is it?  Is it a threat?' Craig asked.  He looked around.

'What!  A threat?  Like a Staraptor!  Eeeeeeeeek,' Evie panicked and hid under a bush.  Jes rolled his eyes.

'No, no threat, no Staraptor.   I just wanted to talk to you,' Blazer said, attempting to calm Evie.

'You sure?'

'Positive and if one comes, the four of use can handle it.  Now I wanted to talk to you guys.  I know you all a little bit, but, other than Jes, I know very little about any of you.'

'So, you want to be friends?' Evie asked, sounding surprised.

'Yes, why do you sound so surprised?' Blazer inquired.  Evie looked at her feet.  'Did the other Eevee bully you?'

'Yes! They cussed me out, they would call me a...' Evie went on like this for a while.

'It's ok Evie we are not going to make fun of you.  Are we?'  Blazer gave both Craig and Jes a fierce look like, "You will not bully her on my watch."  'Did Edward bully you?'

'No, none of the ones he gave to  Phil or any of his friends were ever mean to me.  They were bullied themselves.'

'Hey, don't worry Evie.  Just because I was stuck in stone for a few thousand years doesn't mean I am hard on the inside.'
