LAPIS POV....
Wow... I thought as Peridot was sent out of home cooking with a detention slip.
Cooking was over quickly. All the teacher talked about was how to properly cook sweet and sour pork.
As I walked out of the classroom, I saw peridot walking towards me with a grin on her face.
"What are you smiling about?" I asked her as we walked toward math next.
"I'll tell you later!" She stated in a casual tone, as if detention was normal for her.
As we got into math class I finally spoke the question that was on my mind.
"So....how did you do that?" I asked with a hopeful look on my face, expecting some secret to this strange skill.
"How did I do what?" Peridot asked in a confused look as we sat down next to each other yet again.
I was beginning to get agitated. "You know what I mean!"
She slowly brightens up as she finally understands what I mean.
"I can't tell you." She spoke as my face shook with curiosity.
"Why?" I asked.
She simply closed her book and said in a very scary yet soft tone.
"Its like a magic act you see, if I tell you how I do it you will no longer see me as a gifted individual but a average human being!"
This statement caught me off guard.
"I would never do that!!" I protested as the math teacher walked in telling us to shush.
1 HOUR LATER...
We walked out of math class with a butt load of home work and books in our arms.
"So... I guess this is goodbye." I say as we walked out into the parking lot.
"Yeah... I guess so." Peridot answered back.
We were about to separate when Peridot accidentally bumped in to Jasper...
