Jasper's mistake

PERIDOT POV...

I was bored. Why must I be here? I thought as I stood in the principles Office for detention.

I quickly look around to get a layout of the office.

Leather Victorian chair in the corner, silver lamp next to the Brown mahogany shelf. And the desk was made out of solid oak and picture on the desk shows a boy on a mountain.

I hear the door open and a heavy figure walks in.

The figure sits down and starts talking.

"Hello...this may be the first time you've met me but I'm principle diamond...Yellow Diamond."

I hated her already.

The crumbs show that she had been eating wafers and her breath smells like coffee...and her hand is shaking which means she likes to drink ALOT of beer.

As I think this over the principle stands up and says " I have work to do so i will dismiss this mistake for just this once, Ms peridot...but I'll have you know. This school is known for its high caliber and mastery over the subjects. And I can't have a delinquent like you ruin that reputation...now go.

At this I simply smiled and walk out the door.

As I walk the door I see lapis and immediately walk up to her. What I need company sometimes!

A LITTLE WHILE LATER...

we walked out to the parking lot after school. After we said our goodbyes I turned around to leave.

Her arms are muscular...this means she works out. Her knuckles are recently bruised which means she just beat Someone up. And her backpack is slung on one shoulder, which means that if she is attacked she can quickly take it off and fight.

This was what I saw before I bumped into the figure in front of me.

As I reeled back the girl that I bumped into instantly pulled back her fist, ready to strike.

So she bumped into me on purpose?

I thought as I quickly dodged the punch and jumped back to make sure lapis was alright.

"Jasper!! What are you doing?" Lapis asked and the figure (who's name was jasper) just pulled back her head and laughed.

"I SAW THAT YOUR GREEN FRIEND IS PRETTY GOOD AT NOTICING STUFF...SO I CAME TO ASK HOW SHE DOES IT!" Jasper shouted as a bunch of kids came out from behind cars, each holding weapons.

I counted...10 in total including jasper, all have a baseball bat (except jasper) and one has a knife hidden in his jacket (terribly obvious)...this is going to be fun.

As Jasper grinned I had to ask one question. "So...jasper was it? Why are you doing this?" As I asked this Jasper just reeled her head back and laughed.

"Why am I doing this?! I'm doing it so you can learn a lesson?!"

Then I noticed something in the way she said this.

She says she wants to teach me a lesson but I never did anything, and the other kids are not any students that I recognize...their hired.

Lapis seemed to have had enough. "Jasper please stop!!" But to late, Jasper attacked.

I had to act quickly. These thugs at here to wound not to kill so I'll do the same. And I stepped into action.

The first thug ran at me, to easy, I flipped him over and slammed his head against the cement.

Another came at me with his baseball bat raised, I quickly grabbed his arm and stuck my hand into his pocket...then forced his face into the head lights of a car.

8 more. I thought as four more thugs came at me at once (they obviously learned their lesson). And tried to smack me with their bats.

"Here's a fun fact for you, wooden bats aren't recommended for combat!" I yelled as I quickly caught one of the closest thugs arms and broke it on my knee. I then grabbed his baseball bat and threw it at two of the vermin in the back, then I grabbed the fourth gangster and using my mixed martial arts, grabbed his head and jammed it into the cement path.

4 more. But there was a sleight problem. "Hey peridot, look what we have" Jasper said as lapis was pulled into a head lock and held against a car.

Fight sequence starts now

Now I'm angry. Only a coward holds hostages. I thought as I pulled out the knife I pickpocketed from one of the thugs I slammed and stabbed it into the first guy that came at me. Then I pulled it out and after dodging the second vermin' s bat I sliced it against his legs in a criss cross fashion. That will heal in about one month...3 if do this.

I think as I slash the the knife harder into his thigh. Then I engage the third hoodlum and break his arm as I stab the knife into his leg (while dragging it down) and slamming his face against the cement ground.

All of this happened in 10 seconds
Fight sequence over.

I got up only to remember that Jasper still had lapis against the car. And as I look up lapis yells. "PERIDOT BEHIND YOU!!" But to late I feel a grip on my neck as Jasper puts me in a head lock.

"Ok green ninja let's see you get out of this one!" Jasper yelled as she tried to slam my head on the pavement. Notice I said tried.

As Jasper tried to slam my head on the pavement I rolled over her arm and took the knife in my hand and stabbed it into Jasper's right arm.

And as I got up I wiped the knife clean and cut myself in the arm then threw the knife into the backseat of jasper's car.

(Don't ask me why Jasper takes the bus when she had a car...and I know it's her car because the plate said "Ja $per" on it.)

Then before lapis could say anything I grabbed her and threw her into the passenger seat of my Toyota and after starting the car, drove away.

"How did you do that?!" Lapis asked as we turned the corner. I simply look at her and smile. "I'll tell you later, just shut up." And for the rest of the ride she was quiet.
