Lapis pov...

She doesn't understand...can't she learn to forgive and forget?!

I thought as I rolled down the street in Jasper's car.

"Hey...sorry about peridot." Jasper said as she stopped in front of my apartment complex.

"It's alright...its just that she's a little untrusting."I stated.

Jasper laughed.

"Hahahahaha....well I did try to hurt her...and you......yeah I'm still sorry."
Jasper said with a downed face.

"It's alright... I believe you." I said back.

As Jasper rode away I slowly turned towards my apartment when the thought hit me.

I never told Jasper where I lived. I thought as I opened my door.

As I kept thinking on this idea I shook my head.

I probably told her during the car ride and forgot about it.

But as I went into my room to change I stopped and thought about peridot's warning.

"You shouldn't trust her!!" Peridot had said as I was getting into Jasper's car.

I quickly dismissed this thought.

She doesn't understand...can't she learn to forgive somebody? I mean...jasper did attack us but she apologized.

All this anger made me sleepy so I went to bed.

But...as I fell asleep a dream took over.

Dream starts now...

I woke up in a hospital room. The tile was diamond design and the ceiling was low and droopy. I new where I was... I have been here so many times.

The metal table with solid aluminum legs in the corner. The 1990s tv was hanging on the ceiling corner towards the bed. The bed itself was made of cheap material. But what was on the bed was what made me cry out in sadness.

"Hello lapis." My mother said as we stared at each other in recognition.

"H-Hey." I answered as the shock wore off.

My mother laughed.

"How is school? Are you hungry? Have any friends?"

As she asked these questions years of hidden sadness slowly showed itself as a tear streamed down my cheek.

I slowly walked toward. To touch her hand. To feel the warmth that I've missed for so long.

But...before I could reach her she said to me.

"Remember lapis...its ok to trust people. But you have to trust the right kind." And with that she flat lined and you know what ? I died that day too.

As I woke up from that nightmare I slowly rolled over contemplating that thought.

Elsewhere a shadowy figure stood in a dark office and stated to Jasper "so...you found her...kill her!"
