Peridot pov...

why...how? I thought as I walked down the hall to my next class.

It isn't fair! How is this happening?! As these thoughts ran through like a bullet from a gun, I felt a warm soft hand on my shoulder.

"Hey peridot...did i do something wrong?" Lapis asked as she removed her hand.

"No...its nothing." I say as we sat down in our seats.

She's looking at me from the corner of her eyes, that means she didn't buy my excuse. And her hand is fidgeting which is what she seems to do when shes scared or nervous.

"Don't worry I'll tell you later." I finally say as the teacher finally came in and we started our class.

1 hour and 30 minutes later...

As I walked out of class trying to get to Mrs quartz class I felt a hand on my shoulder, "Peridot...did I do something wrong?!" Lapis yelled as she tried to keep up my pace.

I quickly slow down, as my eyes met hers I blushed she has beautiful eyes I thought as I slowly stated.

"Nothing is wrong...its just that...the way you noticed that the jacket was out of place without a sweat. It just bothers me how fast you learn." As I say this lapis chuckled.

"Hmm, is that what's bothering you? Its just that I learned from watching you... I might even learn from you...sensei."as lapis said this I slowly started to smile, she doesn't know deduction until it hits her...better give her a lesson.

"Hey lapis..." I say as we were about to go into Mrs quartz class.

"What is it?" Lapis responded.

"Take out your phone." I say with a grin.

"Uhh...ok?" And as lapis said this she pulled out her phone.

"Can I take it?" I asked.

"Sure." Lapis responded.

I looked over the phone and then, while smiling, handed it back to her.

"What was that for?" She inquired.

I smile.

"I'll tell you later."

As we sat down in Mrs quartz class something happens that makes me go to the edge of my seat.

"OH!! What happened to you Jasper!?" Mrs quartz asked as Jasper sat down in her seat with a giant bandage on her head.

"Umm, just a little accident." Jasper said. But as Jasper looked at me she gritted her teeth in anger.

Lapis didn't seem to notice this as she was just doing her work.

The rest of class was a deadly silence...

As we left math class I made sure to leave first so that Jasper doesn't ambush me.

5 MINUTES LATER...

I was about to get to my car when I felt a hand grab my arm.

My instincts kicked in...

I grabbed the hand and quickly bent it behind my attacker's back.

It was then that I realized it was lapis.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING PERIDOT!!?" Lapis screamed as I released her.

I quickly released.

"I'm sorry I thought you were Jasper!" I quickly apologized.

Just as I say this lapis's face flushed with anger.

"You shouldn't hold grudges peridot...and besides I just talked to Jasper!"

I did a double take.

"Wait what? Don't you realize that she tried to kill me?!" I yell. But Lapis kept her frown on.

"I know she tried to kill you but you shouldn't hold that against her! She apologized to me after class and it was a sincere apology."

"So just because she apologized you think she's all friendly now? Don't forget she almost killed me AND she held you hostage trust me I know more about her then you do!!"

As I scream this out Lapis's face contorted with anger.

"You think that just because you can see into people like a book you know all about them?! Well guess what peridot...you may have sharp eyes...but you have a dull heart."

This took me aback.

"What do you mean? I care for people!"

But Lapis shook her head. At this point she was crying.

"No...you don't peridot...you don't care at all...you just care about being right...you know what? You are just like Sherlock Holmes, you don't care for others...you don't care about their feelings...and worst of all...you are so obsessed with being right that you would do anything to prove it, even going as far as to hate them."

And as she said this I looked at her in sadness, then in anger.

"You're right lapis... I don't care for others, and do you know why? I grew up with people hating me! I was bullied and I was picked on at school!!
And you know what? I do have a dull heart!! I have a dull heart because it was destroyed when my parents were murdered in front of me!! Yeah that's right!! They were murdered!!"

As I finally finished screaming I looked at me...SMACK!!! Was the sound of her hand as she slapped me in the face.

As I looked at her she said, "Peridot...your a jerk!" And with that she walked off.

"Wait! Where are you going?!" I shouted.

Lapis turned around, "Jasper said she would drive me home! I turned her down...but I guess I made a mistake!" And as she said this Jasper's car pulled up, and as lapis got in saying "Hey Jasper can I ride with you?" I saw the dent in the car where I pushed jasper's head into.

"Sure girl hop on in!!" Jasper said as Lapis closed the door.

Before they drove off I saw Jasper's new license plate...Rache the German word for revenge.
