The Mystery Of Love

LAPIS POV...

I was nervous. Why? It was my first day at Dewey university.

I got up and went to the bathroom to change.

When I came out I got one more look at my small apartment and sighed. "It's so hard to find a nice place to live!" I said in tiredness and walked out into the bus stop.

5 MINUTES LATER...

I was sitting on the bus and reading my book. Man this Sherlock guy Must be really smart! I thought as I flipped through the pages.

Then somebody tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around and saw a bulky person behind me.

"Hey my name's Jasper!" She said as she sat down next to me and started to talk. Turns out...she was really nice, well apart from the fact that she likes to beat up other kids.

"I used to bully people you see. But now I'm nice and friendly!" She stated proudly as the bus turned a corner.

I was kind of annoyed because Jasper kept on nagging me about who I am, but I finally said... I'm Lapis Lazuli.

"Wow that's a nice name!" Jasper said as the bus stopped and we got off.

We were about to go through the double doors when another kid walked by and accidentally bumped into me.

"HEY! Watch where you're going nerd!" Jasper yelled as she grabbed the kid and threw him across the hall and against a locker. There was a loud CRACK as the he made contact and there was another CRACK as Jasper slammed her fist into the wall and shouted out loud, "NEXT TIME... I'M GONNA MAKE YOU PART OF THE WALL!!!"

"STOP!!" I yelled as I quickly run towards Jasper before she can get anymore punches in. "He only bumped into me! You don't have to put bruises on him!!

Jasper shoved my arm away and it hit the corner of a locker. I cry out in pain but Jasper just turns and walks to class.

I quickly forgot about the injury as I look around to realize that I have the same classes as Jasper. So I just followed far behind.

I walk behind her to the classroom that was on my schedule and walked right in.

The teacher introduced us and Jasper walked up and shouted, " MY NAME IS JASPER AND I'M A FEMALE!!!" Which I thought was weird because she didn't need to tell them that.

So I did the same thing and said, "hello...im Lapis Lazuli and I'm a female!"

Everyone just stared at me and then down at their papers as I walked down the aisle and sat down next to a girl wearing green and was looking down at her work.

I said nicely, "hi..." she didn't respond as I stayed quiet for the rest of the period.
