Tuesday we spend the whole day talking about the movie we watched and writing reflections on it. We rated the book too.

After school on Wednesday, Melody's mom picked us up. It was my turn to for to her house. Every week for the next year, or well. Maybe if we stopped being friends, then we're stop, but I didn't see that happening any time soon.

"Come on, come on." Melody said pulling my hand through the hallway. "We have to get outside before they come." Melody said rushing. I didn't know who "they" was, but Melody seemed pretty scared by them.

Melody pulled me along outside in front of the school, where the car riders got picked up. We waited a few minutes, Melody tapping her foot quickly.

"Did you bring the papers?" Melody whispered. I smiled.

"Oh good, I've been waiting this whole time to work on them. I can't wait till we get to my house." Melody said forgetting about who ever "they" were. I would have to question her on that later with a paper and pencil. Melody kept rambling on about the papers and what we should do with them. Melody stopped for a moment.

"It's my dad. Let's go." Melody said. We walked over to the car. A silver minivan. Three little kids in the furthest back rows and a girl maybe a few years older than Melody in the front.

"That's Mina." Melody said pointing to the girl in the front. She smiled at me and waved her hand slightly.

"The three in the back are Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3." Melody said.

"Melody." Melody's dad warned.

"The boys are Jake and Jake. The girl is Jazzy." Melody said. "They're triplets. The twins are at home and my baby sister." My eyes widened. That's a lot of kids. I counted on my fingers, Melody, Mina, the triplets, the twins, and another baby. That's eight kids!

"I know lots of kids. Mina is the oldest, she's 16. Then comes wonderful, fabulous me. I'm 14, if you didn't know I have no idea how you're my best friend. Then the twins, Kelley and Zach. They're 12. Then the triplets, Jake, Jack and Jazzy. Who are 4 years old. Then my baby sister Lidia is a year old." Melody finished. Wow. I didn't know Melody had that many siblings.

"And dad and mom want another." Mina said from the front.

"Oh course we do. We just really need a bigger car." Melody's father said. I took out my notebook and scribbled something down and handed it to Melody. Melody read it quickly.

"Hey dad, Kyle agrees that we should get a limo! I told you I'm not crazy." Melody said.

"Yeah. But he's a icky boy. He doesn't court." Jazzy said from the back full of sass. I bit my lip, to stop from laughing.

"Jazzy. That's not nice." Mina said.

"You live with three boys. You share a room with two of them. How are you not used to them by now?" Melody asked Jazzy.

"But he is old." Jazzy insisted.

"He's only two years older than Zach." Melody pointed out.

"Not even Lidia is that old! And Mommy said she is growing fast." Jazzy said. Melody didn't reply.

Sometimes I wish I had this many siblings. Like real siblings.

"You have that look on your face. You do not want seven siblings. Don't even think about saying you do. Because you down." Melody insisted. I just smiled and looked out the window and the rolling meadows.
