*a few months later*

~June~

"It won't be so bad," I insisted. "It's only a month." Melody glared at me.

"Come on. I'm sure you'll make a ton of friends at that summer camp." I tried again.

"Kyle. I'm going to a overnight summer camp for one month with no technology." Melody stated.

"It won't be so bad. We can do it the old style." I said smiling. I took out my notebook that I always used to write things down in, back when I didn't talk. "By pen and paper." Melody wrapped her arms around me and hugged me really tight.

"I could always just run away and come back." Melody said. "I got out of going to Canada like that."

"And ended up with a broken arm and leg." I told her.

"Still. It won't be the same." Melody said.

"Hey, don't worry." I said smiling. "When you get back we have a whole kingdom to take care of."

"Filled with unicorns and dragons." Melody said.

"Filled with unicorns and dragons." I repeated.

"Thanks Kyle." Melody said.

"For what?" I asked.

"For everything, for being my friend." Melody said. She handed me her cell phone. "They'll take it away at camp, Mom and Dad said just to lock it up in a box, but I trust it more with you." I took the phone and placed it in my back pocket.

"I'll take care of it." I said. "It won't see any Percy Jackson movies." I joked. Melody put a sore face on.

"Those movies stink." She said.

"Yeah I know." I told her. She hugged me quickly and her dad honked the horn of the car. She swung her book backpack on.

"Don't do anything crazy while I'm gone. Ok?" Melody said.

"I won't."

"Ok, good."

"Bye Hoodie Boy." She added

"Bye Unicorn Girl." I joked. I knew very well she liked dragons better. She rolled her eyes. "Bye Dragon Slayer." I told her. She smiled at me one last time before hoping in the car. I waved bye, as the car rolled down the dusty roads of Michigan and out of sight.

I felt someone's hand come on my shoulder. I turned and looked and saw Alice.

"She'll be fine." Alice told me.

"I know she will." I said.

"Let's go back some brownies." Alice said. We walked into the house. I looked on last time down the road. I smiled at Alice and ran into the house.

Author's Note

I'm like crying right now. I never thought I would finish this book. Never. I want to thank all the reader that read this, but I mostly want to thank iheartcellos She was with me in the beginning of the book to the end of the book. She voted on every chapter, and she commented the most out of all my readers. She's simply amazing and I know this book wouldn't be here without her. Thank you again.

Thank you everyone who read this book.

There will be a second book. Keep an eye out for it. Kyle isn't going away anytime soon.

I'll post another part in this story, I'll comment the second book's title and the first chapter of it.

If anyone wants to make the second book's cover, I'll sent anyone who wants to do it the first chapter early.

Thank you again. *cries because I never thought I would finish this book*
