Melody's whole family wanted us to spend Christmas together. Alice and I decided to spend the day with Melody's parents and then head over to Max's house and eat Christmas dinner with him. His parents and and siblings would be there too.

Alice and I drove over to Melody's house. I was squirming in my seat. Presents were in the back. One for everyone. Which wasn't an easy job. Especially since I wasn't on too good of a page on with Kelley. Alice did the shopping on that one. I held Melody's present in my hands, hoping she would like it.

That day we went shopping over at the mall. I saw her looking at the Percy Jackson books. Right before we left I said I had to go to the bathroom. I quickly grabbed the first five books, the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series. I paid for them quickly and I snuck them into the bags I already had filled with little things from other stores. I didn't think she noticed how my bags had grown in a mater of minutes. She had finished the first four books while she was at my house during break. I had wrote a little message on the inside of each book for her too.

"I'm sure she'll like them." Alice said looking over at me.

"How much did you pay for them again?" Alice asked a few seconds later. I shrugged. They were around $40, but I sure wasn't going to tell Alice that.

"I'll find out at home when I look through the receipts." Alice said. Oops, seems as this on accidentally fell into the fire place and burned up. But again I sure wasn't going to tell Alice that. I shook my head ether way.

We pulled up in the drive way. Alice and I loaded our arms with presents. We knocked on the door and were greeted by Jake, Jack, and Jazzy at the door.

"They're here!!!!" Jazzy shouted. Jazzy started running around the place shouting: they're here! Melody quickly came to the door. She took half of the present and helped me put them next to the Christmas tree that was already filled with presents.

"Merry Christmas Kyle." Melody said. I handed her a small green folded paper that I wrote on earlier in red pen.

Merry Christmas Melody

I had spend forever trying to get my handwriting look presentable.

"Geez did you spend time on your handwriting." Melody said laughing. I started laughing realizing how easy it was for her to read me like a book.

"Alice. We didn't know what to get you for Christmas," Melody's mom said louder than needed. Everyone turned their heads. "So we got you a surprise instead." Melody's mom said at a normal ton. Just then Max walked through the door.

"Merry Christmas!" He said. Alice ran up to him and hugged him crazy. Max's seven year old sister Krisi walked in with her parents too. Their arms were filled with presents too.

I smiled at Melody, and looked around me. Last year I was up in my room under my bed, no one caring other than Alice. Now, I guess my family has changed a lot, and grew. And I couldn't be happier.

Author's Note

Ok, so I have the split Christmas Day in two chapters. This one is already pretty long. I usually try to do around 500 words per chapter and this one is over in numbers. I really want to make Christmas Day special for Kyle, so I'm spending more time on it.

Also, I found this new book called Flip The Bird. It's amazing and you all should totally go read it. Thanks for reading up to this point!

Also, is the story getting boring? I feel like these last few chapters have been a little boring. Please give feedback. Please and thank you.
