Goku's "Death-Wish"

-CHAPTER FIVE : Gladiators Need A Colloseum-

   After getting a dozen sensu beans from Korin, Goku flew away from the lookout tower at a deliberate pace, trying to lure Vegeta away from all life forms below.
'King Kai? Heeellllooo, King Kai?! Anybody home!?', Goku desperately reached out.

'What do you want, Goku? No, you can't use my planet to destroy!' came his response after a few moments. 'I still haven't fully repaired it from the last time.' the kai said sadly.

'King Kai, this is much more important than that!', Goku pleaded, adding, 'ShenLong has granted someone a wish to have me killed, and it turns out that he has put a curse or a spell, whatever, on Vegeta!' the Saiyan said via telepathy.

'Oh, my.. what ever are you going to do Goku?' King Kai said worriedly. ,'Obviously not planning on coming h-' king kai was interrupted by a sharp whizzing sound, as Goku suddenly appeared in the middle of king Kai's road, causing the deity to panic, swerve and crash into his home, ruining it.

"GOKU!? HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO THAT DAMN THING WITHOUT ASKING ME FIRST!?!" the Kai erupted, and when he was taking a breath to deliver more, Goku cut him off.

"King Kai I'm really sorry, and i promise I'll help you fix it (this time)," Goku said hurriedly. "but I need your help if both Vegeta and i are going to make it out of this."

   King Kai pondered the severity of the situation, and finally let go of the 'little accident' (For Now!). "Mmm... Oh okay, alright, Goku, I'll help you. BUT YOU'D BETTER KEEP YOUR PROMISE TO HELP ME WHEN THIS IS OVER WITH! AFTER ALL, I AM A VERY IMPORTANT DEITY, YOU KNOW!? NOT JUST ANYBODY CAN DO MY JOB!", the little blue man huffed and puffed.

   Goku was slightly cowering and scratching the back of his head. "Hey, king Kai, come on. I will, I promise..." trying to downplay it.

"Fine then! What do you need from me?" grumbled king Kai.
"I need you to contact somebody in the Kai world and ask them if it's alright if i bring Vegeta there. You know, like we did with kid buu, since that world can't be destroyed and everything..."

  King Kai waited and waited, never breaking eye contact. Goku felt awkward after about 5 seconds and, unsure if King Kai had heard him, started to beckon at him. King Kai's veins started bulging and his head enlarged about 5× as he yelled and spat all over Goku, who was cowering again.

"WOULD IT KILL YOU TO SAY PLEASE JUST ONCE!???"

   Goku was about to answer when his head was suddenly filled with messages that were not his own, of which King Kai could obviously hear, too.

"Goku. Goku, are you there?"

King Kai stopped screaming, his head reverting to original size, as Goku erected his position from the one he was cowering in.

"Is that you, Kami? I didn't know you can telepathically communicate." Goku replied.

"I can't," the guardian of earth continued,  "but this situation allows for me to." Came the response.

"Situation? What's going on?"

"In your absence, Vegeta has started to destroy cities. What's worse, he seems to be making his way towards your house. I fear he may be willing to trade the life of one of your children for your own. Or he could be going there to kill them as bait to lure you back."

"What!?  I'll be there immediately."
"King Kai-" he was interrupted.

"Go, Goku. I'll handle it and let you know." Said the deity.

Goku smiled in appreciation. "Thanks, King Kai. I owe you one."

"You owe me alot more than-" Goku disappeared. "...one." King Kai finished his sentence before sigh'ing deeply.

"Come on, Bubbles. Let's get this over with."
