Leo woke from the deep slumber he once was in, rubbing his eyes as he rose up from the bed. The sun was shining brightly through the cheap blinds, the heat from the sun warming his skin as he uncovered from the sheets. As he did so, he remembered what had happened last night and slowly his head turned to see Celeste and her naked body covered in his sheets.

"Fuck." He muttered to himself, shaking his head at himself. He couldn't believe what he had done; what he had allowed to happen. He looked to the clock, 10:49.

"Celeste?" He called out, shaking her body gently. She turned around and slowly her eyelids opened. She smiled at Leo and rose up from the bed, not caring that the sheet fell from her body. Leo didn't dare look away from her face, swallowing hard as he closed his eyes. "What we did last night... that shouldn't have happened." Celeste's smile quickly turned to a frown as her eyebrows furrowed.

"But you still let it happen, Leo. Why?"

Leo shrugged his shoulders, wondering the same damn thing himself. "I don't fucking know why I allowed that, but it shouldn't have happened Celeste. We're friends, and that's all we are."

Celeste scoffed, "Good to know you don't give a shit about me." Leo rolled his eyes, and stood from the bed, quickly putting on his sweatpants.

"Just go, please."

"Whatever," Celeste put on her clothes and before she walked out of his room she turned around, "you're a fucking dick."

Sage groaned as she stepped out of the shower, chill bumps rising onto her skin. She looked over at the clock, 9:57, and sighed, quickly dressing herself in skinny jeans and a floral blouse, pushing her back and leaving in waves from the shower.

She had nothing to do, but she figured going out for a walk around town would be better than sitting at her apartment and watching Dr. Phill all day. Closing the door to her apartment, she headed down the stairs before she made it to the main doors of the building. Pushing the door open, a cool breeze hit her and made her shiver. She smiled to herself and began walking down the street, arms crossed across her chest to keep her warm.

Coming upon the corner, she saw the lit up sign to Vick's Bar; Leo's job. She hadn't allowed herself to even process what had happened between them two and how electrifying the kiss was that they shared together. Sage had only one real boyfriend and that was Parker, or at least she thought so. Parker was the only one that she actually stayed with and the only one that she ever expressed her feelings with. But now, before Sage could even stop herself she had told Leo so much and she was letting her vulnerability show. And she didn't like that.

Sage isn't the type of girl that goes around telling everyone her feelings and what makes her - her. But keeping all the hurt and despair that Parker brought her and left her with, and the stress of her parents divorcing, she saw Leo as her light and maybe even her knight in shining armor. Someone to save her through the hell and the chaos that comes with being Sage Amor.

So, perhaps this was a good thing for her. Maybe this would allow her to see a brighter life. Maybe she could find herself giving her whole self to Leo and loving him. She just didn't know how and where to begin with him.

She knew one step though - go to him.

So she did.

Fear, excitement and nerves surged through Sage as she stood outside of Leo's apartment door. She found herself going to knock then quickly putting her hand down. She had never been so nervous. Letting out a shaky breath, she knocked slowly, focusing on the sharp and deep sound her knuckles made against the old wooden door.

Standing there for almost a minute, she sighed and knocked one more time almost wishing that he wouldn't answer so she could go on like nothing happened. But eventually the door opened with force, and as Sage looked up from the floor she smiled, "Hey, I was wondering if we could ta-", she didn't see who she was expecting. Her smile quickly faded and suddenly she felt a tight knot in her stomach and her throat tighten as she saw Celeste against the door with messy hair and her clothes barely on.

"Oh." She simply remarked, standing awkwardly as Celeste shot her an evil look.

"Celeste I told you to leave, I-" Sage could see Leo in the back of the apartment as the color drained from his face. "Sage, um," he simply didn't know what to say as he stood dumbfounded at the fact that Sage knew exactly what had happened and that she wasn't happy about it.

"Uh, who the fuck are you?" Celeste asked, running a hand through her hair. Sage felt disgusted, utterly nauseous as she felt their eyes on her. Her palms became sweaty and she knew that she was about to have a panic attack if she didn't get out of there.

"I have to go."

"No, Sage," Leo called out, pushing past Celeste to follow Sage, "I can explain."

Sage turned around with glossy eyes, "What? That I interrupted something between the two of you?" she bit her lip, feeling a tear fall down her face, "just go back to her Leo. Fuck, I knew that, that was all you wanted."

"Sa-"

"Go Leo!"

"Please wait."

Sage sighed, and rubbed at her eyes, "And to think, I actually thought this could be something." With that, Sage turned around and walked down the long hallway to the exit of the apartment complex leaving Leo out in the hallway and a smirking Celeste by his door.
