- It's hard to paint anything new because every time I go into that room I see you

- Leonard, I am beyond flattered

- But Leonard, it's your name
- I'm just trying to be formal

- You literally just saw me two nights ago

- Exactly
- I need to see you everyday

- You're under my skin, and I can't do anything about it

Leo finished scrolling through the messages they had sent each other earlier in the day. He didn't know why she left him on seen, and every time he went through the messages he became even more confused. He knew he hadn't said anything awful to make her mad at him or anything, so why did she leave him on seen?

Sage looked through their messages, blinking at the screen rapidly. She herself didn't exactly know why she left him on seen other than the fact that she knows how she feels about him and she's scared that he doesn't feel the same. Of course at the same time, she believes that he feels the same way, and that she could finally be happy and have a future with him.

But for some reason, she couldn't answer and she couldn't do anything about that except feel sorry for herself and wonder what Leo is thinking about her and wonder if he's questioning her and her actions.

very short chapter I know.
but this is just a filler chapter and I think it's important to see how sage is acting and how she is with relationships.

you'll soon figure out more on the backstory of what she was like before she met Leo and how damaged she still is from her past relationship with Parker.

so, the next chapter will be longer and filled with a lot about sage's past.
