When Leo craved a snicker's bar, he didn't just want the delicious chocolate wrapped in gold, he needed it to carry on with life, to live. The Snicker's Bar was one of the most important things in his life, and now after watching a movie with Sage, he realized just how bad he was craving one. And he knew that one was sitting on the shelf in the convenient store just down the street from his apartment.

He looked down at Sage who was almost asleep, her chest heaving up and down. "Babe?" He shook her body gently, as she squinted her eyes, trying to wake up from the nap she wanted to take.

She hummed, "hmm?"

Leo sighed, "I want a snickers bar." Sage sat up, rubbing her eyes tiredly. "Why?" Leo laughed through his nose, "I kinda have an addiction to them, and well, I abuse that addiction sometimes, but... that's besides the point, the point is, is that down the street there's a convenient store and they have a row of snicker's bars there."

Sage nodded, trying to process what he was saying. "And why are you telling me this?" Leo smirked, leaning closer to her so he could whisper in her ear, "so I can show you what I eat when I'm not eating you." Sage's eyes grew big as she shot up from the couch.

"Leo!" She shouted, punching his arm. "What has gotten into you?" Leo laughed, shrugging as Sage began to laugh with him. "Jesus Christ, I'll come and see what you eat... god, I've created a monster."

Sage looked up at the convenient store, the sign barely handing above the door. Leo smiled, grabbing her hand. "I know, it's not much. But, I've came here for a very long time, and I assure you that the chocolate here is the best." Sage nodded, rubbing her eyes and let him take her into the small store he loved. Leo looked like a child in a candy store as he boyishly smiled and grabbed the Snicker's Bar and grasped it firmly.

"Why do you like chocolate bars, but you don't like chocolate milkshakes?" Sage asked, placing her head on his shoulder from behind as he chose a coke to buy. Leo shrugged, trying to see why he didn't like chocolate milkshakes. He actually had no idea why.

"I don't know. It's a different flavor I guess, too rich?" He paused, scratching his chin. "I have no explanation actually." Sage lightly laughed, feeling strangely relaxed in the little store.

"What's your favorite chocolate bar?" He asked Sage, holding her hand in his.

Sage thought about it and smiled, moving away from him to grab her favorite: The Milky Way. "This is my favorite, I've used to always get it when I was a child." Leo nodded, grabbing the two bars and each of them a coke, paid for it and they walked out into the cool air of Chicago hand in hand.

As they walked together, Leo decided to spark a conversation. "You've never really told me about your parents or what you were like as a child." Sage looked down, biting her lip nervously. She knew this would come up sooner or later; she just hoped for later.

"Umm, well. My parents are getting divorced soon, so.. I guess that says a lot about my child life. I-uh, I mostly spent my childhood locking myself up in my room with my brother until my parents stopped screaming at each other. It was hard, but I'm thankful that I had my brother right by my side during it all."

Leo stayed silent for a while, deciding wether or not to say anything. He knew it was a hard subject for her and it was a lot for her to actually open up to him like that. "I'm sorry." That's all he could think to say in that moment, he just hoped it was enough to let her know that he was there for her.

"Thank you, Leo. It really means a lot that you actually care... I love you." Leo smiled, pulling her closer to him so he could wrap his arm around her waist as they walked. "I love you t-"

Before Leo could finish his statement, Sage interrupted him, saying something he feared, something he never wanted to get in his way.

"Parker?"
