It's a bright and sunny day at Casa Valentina. Rebbel smile at the sight of his wife carrying her son while giggling at each other. He enter the restaurant and kiss Maggie's nose as he sit beside her.
"Hey little one. How are you?" He ask his son and he answer him with a smile. He cant really believe how a smile can make his heart jump in glee. He never thought he can love this way, just as Maggie came. He love her unconditionally. He love their little ones with all his heart. More than his life.
"Papa, mamaya turuan mo po akong magsurf ka. Payag na si Mama." Masiglang sabi ng anak sa kanya. Ginulo nya ang buhok nito at kinalong. His very own baby boy. He's Zeus Adam, his very version.
"Where's the twins, love?" Maggie ask him. They are ten years married and the effect of her smile never changes. He still love her with all his heart.
"Papunta na. They are wearing their swimsuits. Ang papasaway ng anak mo." Naiiling na sabi nya bago sumimsim ng kape. Good thing his wife orders for breakfast. Gutom na din talaga sya, hinintay nya lang ang kambal bago nagtungo sa restaurant.
He smile at the thought of his twins. Cashiel Artemis and Amanda Castrel. They are fraternal twins and very much adorable. Artemis is like Mama Becca while Amanda is like Maggie. They are very different from each other Artemis is boyish while Amanda is prim and proper. None-the-less they are very close and inseprable.
"Ikaw naman. Anong gusto mong suotin ng mga anak mo? Gown? Nasa beach kaya sila tsaka malapit ng matapos ang summer. Hayaan mo na." Natatawang sabi nito. Sya naman ay inalalayan si Zeus sa pagkain. He's just five and still clumsy as ever.
"Basta kapag dalaga na sila, bawal na ang swimsuit." Pinal na sabi nya na tinawanan lang ng asawa.
"Hi Mama. Morning." Mula sa labas ay biglang sumulpot si Amanda at hinalikan ang ina, ganoon din sa kanya.
"Ate." Zeus giggled as Amanda kiss her.
"Where's your twin?"
"Ay Pa, nakita nya yung friend nya on our way here. They are chitchatting. The guy is cute, Pa." Amanda giggled. His eyes widen in shock as he stand up. There's a guy whose chitchatting with his princess! Fvck! Ten years old pa lang si Artemis!
"Kumalma ka nga!" Natatawang saway sa kanya ni Maggie. But he did'nt listen. He was about to get out of that place and search for his daughter when they enter the restaurant. Artemis is with a fvcking a guy!
Nakaabrisyete dito ang anak nya habang blangko naman ang ekspresyon ng lalaki.
"Pa!" Artemis giggled and pull the guy in their table. He was glaring at the kid but it seems like he does'nt give a fvck. He amused him in every way.
"Who's this cute boy with you anak?" Maggie was smilling from ear to ear and he dont like that. It seems like her wife likes the guy. And when that hapoen for sure he will invite him in the house and he will be very close to Artemis! He dont want that!
"Ma, sya si Cash. Yung nikwento ko sa inyo na nakilala ko sa McDo nung sinama ko ni 'to Light sa auto shop nila para makakita ng cars. Sya yung lalaki na pinaiyak ako kasi nakita nya yung panty ko na pink pero he say sorry naman. Tapos we became friends na. Papa pareho kami ng name Cashiel din sya. Cashiel Anton nga lang, Artemis ako e. Ang galing no Pa? Tapos nakita ko sya sa sea, nagsuswim. Nagbabakasyon din pala sila. Kasama nya si Jeron Young. Yung basketball player na mahilig manuntok. Daddy nya yon Pa. Ang pogi."
"Hoy. Hinga, aba." Sita dito ng kasama na syang ikinatawa ng asawa nya.
Artemis is just always like that. Detailed kung magkwento at napakadaldal. No filter mouthed and she speaks up her mind. Well it runs in the blood. She's a pure blood Aragon by the way.
"Join us for breakfast, Cash." Anyaya dito ng asawa nya na hindi naman nito tinanggihan. Naupo ito sa bakanteng upuan at tumakbo naman si Artemis sa buffet table para kumuha ng Coco Crunch.
"So, how are you doing Cash?" Maggie ask their buysita. He dont like the kid because of the way he look at Artemis. Alam nya ang ganoong tingin dahil ganoon nya tingnan ang asawa.
"Im fine, Ma'am." He smiled. Amusement filled his eyes. Magalang naman pala ang bata, muka lang suplado.
"Daddy mo si Jeron Young?"
"Yes Ma'am."
"Just call me, tita. Wag ng ma'am." Maggie giggled
"May gusto ka ba sa anak ko?" He blurted out in overwhelming curiousity.
Ngumisi ang bata. "Baka po anak ninyo ang may gusto sakin." Magalang ang pagkakasabi nito pero naguumapaw naman ang sarkasmo sa muka. Humaglpak ng tawa ang asawa nya.
"Ilikeyou."
"Im sorry tita, but i think it's inappropriate. May asawa ka na po. I prefer Artemis."
"Oh my God." Amanda blurted. "Pa, he likes Artemis."
"Do you want me to wring your neck?" He hissed in anger.
"No can do sir. I can sue you for child abuse." Nakangiting ani nito. "Besides, your daughter always giggles and scream that it blows my ears. But none the less my heart likes her. You can do nothing about that. Pati ako. It's just my heart." The kid smile. And he can see it's genuine.
Napabuntong hininga na lang sya.
He cant wring the kid's neck. Specially that Artemis is back in the table.
Maggie hold his hand and in that instant, he's calm.
"Hayaan mo na. They are just kids." She kiss him a smack and his senses were instantly calm.
"Iloveyou." Magkapanabay nilang sinabi.
He really dont know what to do without Maggie.
She's his anchor, his stress reliever, his happiness, his wife, his everything. And he will forever thank God for giving her to him.
