"Love, you look frustrated." She heard Rebbel's chuckle that makes her brows furrow even more. She averted her gaze at him and stabs his chest through death glare. He chuckle even more, naiiling na ibinalik nya ang atensyon sa ginagawang blue print.
"Let's eat first love." Masuyong anyaya nito sa kanya. Doon nya lang napansin ang hawak nitong tray na naglalaman ng ice cream. Agad na natakam sya at tumayo mula sa pagkakasalampak sa sahig kung saan nakalatag ang blue print nya. Inilapag ni Rebbel ang tray sa center table bago kumuha ng kutsara at bowl kung saan nito isinalin ang ice cream.
"Come to daddy." He said grinning as he tap his lap for her to sit there. Inirapan nya muna ito bago umupo sa kandungan nito. She's used to Rebbel, being clingy. He just loves to cuddle na syang iniaaasar nya dito madalas.
Sa isang linggo nya ring pagtira sa bahay nito ay nasanay na rin sya na share sila sa lahat ng bagay. Share sa plato, sa baso, sa mug, sa towel, sa kumot. They are living like a couple and she loves that.
Every passing day that passes and she learn a thing about Rebbel so much more-- the more she fell inlove with him. The feeling is just strong ang inevitable that she almost forget the revenge she's suppose to work on.
"Pagod na ang love ko?" Malambing na sabi nito habang hinahawi ang ilang hibla ng buhok sa pisngi nya. Agad na sumimangot sya sya at hindi napigilang sabunutan ito.
"This is your fault!" She hissed. "Seriously? A blue print for freshman students? Are'nt you suppose to teach us the basics?"
"Dream house is a basic." Nakangising ani ni Rebbel habang sinusubuan sya ng ice cream na agad nyang kinain.
She's stressed for the past week because of that blue print thingy. Ang akala nya ay basics lang ang meron sa subject na iyon but Rebbel give them a project that surely blow their brains out. They just have a week to work on it and it serves as their midterm exam.
"Silly. Im training you to be the best of the best." Rebbel mumble. "Architects always deal with deadline thingy. Maswerte ka kapag mabait ang kliyente mo at handang magbigay ng palugit. It's not everyday that you can brainstorm an idea. That's why i put you under pressure. Masasanay ka don at pag isinalang ka sa totoong trabaho, you would'nt crack." Paliwanag nito. She pout because he got a point.
Tumahimik na lang sya at ninamnam ang ice cream na isinusubo nito.
"Rebbel, is Architecture your first love?" She asked out of nowhere. "I mean, ito ba talaga 'yung pangarap mo nung bata ka?" Bigla ay nacurious sya dito. Being an Architect is her dream eversince at naikwento nya kay Rebbel iyon. Ipinakita din nito sa kanya ang ilang hotel ng mga Aragon na ito mismo ang nagdisenyo at talaga namang nainspire sya na maging mas mahusay pa.
"No." Nagkibit ito. He answer her in the most casual way but those glint of sadness crossed his eyes cant be denied. "That's my dad's dream. But since he took over the company, he was'nt able to follow his dreams."
"Kaya ikaw ang nagtupad?" She curiously ask. Tumango ito at malungkot na ngumiti. "E ikaw? Ano bang pangarap mo talaga?"
"Ito." Nagkibit si Rebbel. "Maging hotel Magnate. Natupad ko rin naman since our family owns chains of hotels that's why being an Architect was'nt really a distraction to me." Muli sya nitong sinubuan ng ice cream na sya nya namang kinain bago ito sumubo ng para rito. "But you know, the story behind it-- i disappointed my dad so much. Kaya naisip ko na maging Arkitekto para makabawi naman sa kanya. I had so many mistakes, love."
"But you set things right, right?" She caress his face to wipe those sadness in him. Seeing him sad just pains her heart. She want those playful smile in his lips and not the sad ones.
"Not all."
"But you see, you succeed in your field. Im sure your dad is so proud of you." She waggle her brows and it succeed to make him laugh.
"Magdalene Madayag, natututo ka ng mambola ha."
"Napapakilig na ba kita?" She playfuly ask and he just answer it in a sexy chuckle.
"Ikaw love? Being an Architect is really your dream?"
"Oo." She smile at the thought. "I like to build people's dream. Para kasing masarap sa pakiramdam."
Rebbel caress her face and smiled. "That's what i admire about you. Im proud of you, love." He reach for her face and drop sweet little kisses in her nose. Napangiti na lang sya sa ginawang iyon ng binata.
"Rebbel--" Malambing na sabi nya dito maya maya. "Can you move the deadline? Wala pa kong maisip na design e." Malambing na ani nya na tinawanan naman nito.
"No."
"Sige na?" She pouted and use her puppy dog eyes at him but he just laugh and shook his head. "Mahirap kaya, have you design your own dream house?" Hamon nya dito na sinagot lang nito ng iling.
"I design hotels, not houses."
"You have'nt design one?" Gulat na tanong nya na sinagot naman nito ng iling.
"Kahit yung sa sarili mo? Pahiramin mo na lang ako." Ungot nya na tinawanan lang nito. Alam naman nyang pandaraya iyon pero baka bumagsak sya sa subject nito kapag hindi sya nakapagpasa ng blue print.
"Wala akong dream house e."
Tumaas ang kilay nya. "Wala? Imposible naman yon. Lahat kaya ng tao may dream house."
"Ewan." Ibinaba nito ang bowl ng ice cream na wala ng laman. "People just misconceptualize the idea of Dreamhouse. Parang kapag sinabi mong dream house, maganda, may swimming pool, pang mayaman, maraming kwarto, may basketball court. Parang hindi tama. Kaya wala akong dream house."
"Ano bang dream house para sayo?" She ask innocently. Lahat naman kasi ng sinabi nito tungkol sa konsepto ng dream house ay tama. Paano magiging dream kung hindi malaki hindi ba?
Ngumiti ito ng matamis sa kanya na syang nagabilis ng tibok ng puso nya.
Her heart is like racing in every passing minute that she anticipates his answer because she can feel that is something that would take her to cloud nine once again. Just like when he whisper sweet nothings whenever they are making love.
"Ang dream house ko kahit anong bahay, kahit saang lugar, basta ikaw ang inuuwian ko, dream house na 'yon. You are my home love. You are my dream and thankyou because you came to reality."
Walang duda! Inlove na nga sya sa gunggong.
"Ikaw ha!" Pinisil nya ang tungki ng ilong nito at pabiro itong tinampal sa pisngi. Pakiramdam nya ay namamawis ang buo nyang katawan dahil sa sobrang kilig. "Naiinlove ka na sakin! Wala yan sa kontrata!"
Halos masamid sya sa sariling laway ng hulihin ni Rebbel ang kamay nya at hapitin sya palapit dito. Now their face are just an inch away. Her chest are pressed over his, and she wonder if Rebbel can feel the fast beating of her heart.
"What if i am?" He ask in a low raspy voice while looking straight into her eyes. Her heart maddens more and beats fater--if that's even possible. "Im starting to like you for real, love."
Different emotions crossed over his chocolate eyes when she looked at them and she cant name even one. She see the beauty within him and there she was lost in his eyes.
"Im starting to like you too." She voice her thoughts out. A smile made it's way to Rebbel's lips.
