"Is it really okay if we stay here?" I ask Rebbel nonchalantly. Hindi pa rin ako komportable na narito kami sa bahay ng mga magulang nya. Though, Mr. And Mrs. Aragon is good to me.
"Love, mas maaalagaan ka ni mama dito. Dalawa na kayo ni baby o. Wala kang kasama sa unit natin kapag nasa office ako." Inayos nya ang unan sa likod ko at naupo sa harap ko.
"I gave up teaching, love." He caress her face and her expression softens.
"You dont have to--"
"I have to." He cuts in. "You and baby demands more attention. That's why i resign. Mas okay na rin yon para hindi na gumawa ng issue kapag pumasok ka na ulit. I enroll you to online school this sem para tuloy tuloy pa rin ang pag-aaral mo habang buntis ka."
"Rebbel, diba mahal yon?" Her eyes widen in shock. Nahihiya na rin sya kay Rebbel dahil sa dami ng ginawa nito para sa kanya.
"Mahal kita. And nothing matters to me, than to make you happy and to make our baby safe." Hinalikan nito ang labi nya na agad nya namang tinugon.
"Iloveyou." She caress his face.
"Iloveyou too." He kiss her nose. "I call your mom, love. And i told her your pregnant. Natakot ako ng umiyak sya, pero wala na naman daw syang magagawa at buntis ka na. Biyaya ang baby. Siguraduhin ko lang daw na pakakasalan kita dahil tatagain nya ako." Sabay silang natawa sa sinabi nito. She felt a bit worried to her mom but Rebbel assured her everything's just fine. "Love, since Jeanine is getting well. I offer your mom to move in. Sa kanila ko ipapagamit yung unit natin since we live here with my parents. Nakausap ko na rin si Cyrone. And he's willing to give Jeanine a scholarship in college. Naikwento mo sakin na gusto nyang maging Flight Attendant diba?"
This time her tears cascade. Rebbel just got a huge heart. At nararamdaman nya na mahal din nito ang pamilya nya.
"Bakit ka umiiyak?" He ask softly and caress her face.
"Pano, nahihiya na ko sayo. Ang dami dami mo ng naibigay."
Ngumiti ito at pinakatitigan ang muka nya bago sya hinalikan. "Love, iloveyou. And i love the people who matters to you. Ilove your family too. Just love me with all your heart at bawing bawi ka na."
They slept together in that very room. Nauna nga lang syang makatulog dahil may tinapos pa itong report para sa opisina bukas. She just awaken when she felt him moving her close to him and embrace her to sleep. She wake up that night craving for something to eat. Nagsisimula na syang maglihi at napakapasensyoso naman ni Rebbel pagdating doon.
Niyugyog nya ito at ginising. Alas dos na ng madaling araw at alam nyang wala pang tulog ito dahil sa tinapos na report. Pero nagugutom na talaga sya kaya naaawa man ay ginising nya na ito.
He grunted as he open his eyes.
"What's the problem, love? Huh?" Bakas ang pag-aalala sa muka nito na syang ikinangiti nya.
"Im hungry." Nakangusong ungot nya. She tugged his shirt and pouted like a kid. Then she rub her head in his neck like a puppy. "Let's eat ice cream?" Natatawang bumangon ito at hinalikan ang ulo nya.
"Ice cream, then." He get up and guide her til they reach the kitchen.
Hindi na sya nagtataka na may stock ang mga ito ng maraming flavors ng ice cream. Mr. Aragon is a dessert sucker and has a sweet tooth. While Rebecca Aragon is a patissiere and a sweet maker.
"What flavor?" Pupungas pungas na tanong ni Rebbel. Halata ang pagod at antok sa muka nito pero gwapo pa rin ito sa paningin nya. At hindi pumapalya ang ngiti nito para pabilisin ang tibok ng puso nya. God! She's deeply, crazily, absolutely, truly, heartwarmingly inlove with this man.
"Mango." She chirpped. Rebbel shook his head and get the ice cream container with the flavor of mango.
He get the scoop and open the ice cream container. Then he get glass from the cupboard and was about to put the ice cream in it when he tap his hand and shook her head. She dont feel like eating ice cream in that glass. Ewan nya ba. Ang weird pero parang hindi nya talaga kayang kumain ng ice cream sa baso.
"Wala bang ibang lalagyan?"
His eyes widen in shock as he look at her. Nakagat nya ang ibabang labi bago ito nginitian.
"Sige na."
Tumango ito at kumuha ng sherbet glass sa cabinet kung saan nakalagay ang mga mamahaling chinawares. Napangiwi sya ng makita ang grandiosong design ng sherbet glass.
"Ayaw ko nyan." Maktol nya. Hindi nya rin alam kung saan nya gustong kumain ng ice cream. Basta ayaw nya sa baso.
"E saan mo gustong kumain?" Napapantastikuhang tanong ni Rebbel sa kanya.
"Hindi ko alam. Basta ayaw ko sa baso." She pouted. Naiinis sya sa hindi nya malamang dahilan. Mayron ata syang hormonal imbalance. Ganoon naman talaga pag buntis.
"Ito?" Naglabas si Rebbel ng plato. Umiling sya at sumimangot. Naiinis na sya kay Rebbel. Gusto nya ng kumain ng ice cream pero hindi sya makakain dahil walang lalagyan. "Mangkok?" He proposed. Inirapan nya ito at nagpapadyak na sa inis.
"Ang bagal naman! Gusto ko na ng ice cream e!" She tantrum like a kid.
"Maggie ano ba? Hindi pa ako natutulog! Maaga ang meeting ko bukas! Why dont you just eat from the container?" She instantly sob as tears escape her eyes. Her heart ache when he shout at her face. "Why dont you get yourself pregnant and deal with my cravings?" She walks out.
She enter their room and lock the door. She sit at the bed and cry in anger. Bakit ba nagagalit agad si Rebbel? Hindi nya rin naman maintindihan ang sarili nya kung bakit hindi nya kayang kumain sa plato.
"Love--" she heard few knocks followed by Rebbel's sweet voice. "love, Sorry na. Please open the door."
"Sorry mo muka mo!" She scream. "Pangit! Baho!" Rinig nya ang malakas na tawa ni Rebbel mula sa labas na syang lalo nyang ikinainis. Ewan! Parang napaglilihihan nya si Rebbel.
"Sorry na, open this door." He followed it with few knocks but she did'nt move to open the door.
"Bahala ka! Matulog ka ng mag-isa!" She even crossed her arms in her chest---as if he's just infront of her and see her actions.
"Love?" He knock again." Do you wanna build a snow man? Come on lets go around and play."
And all her defenses breaks when she heard his sweet voice. She actually laugh when she heard that song. Naalala nya ang scene sa pelikuka kung saan kinakanta ni Princess Ana iyon habang kinakatok si Princess Elsa sa kwarto.
"Let it go. Let it go. Cant hold it back anymore." Doon na sya natawa ng malakas. Naiiling na tumayo sya at pinagbuksan ito ng pinto. She hug him tightly and kiss his lips.
"Appology accepted." She smiled at him.
They enter the room and she eat those ice cream in his washboard abs that leads them to a kinky spontaneous lovemaking.
