Kyoya
When I woke the next morning, I willed himself not to let my being upset show. After all, I was supposed to be the Shadow King and the Cool Type of the host club.
This much I managed through the morning, being able to ignore the twins' usual devilish, and Tamaki's usual idiocy. However, it didn't slip by me that the idiot was rather excited — well, more than he usually is.
"Tamaki, why are you so bouncy today?"
Said teen's eyes widened, before brightening once again. "You didn't hear? There's a new student! I hear she is an absolutely magnificent princess!"
I cocked a brow in confusion, genuinely surprised. I had actually not known about this. "Really?"
Who is this student? It's practically impossible for someone to enter Ouran High School without me knowing, because I have the school records. There has never been anyone able to make it past me ever since. . .
Her again. I sighed, why must she be around every corner? You'd think that after a year of no communication would help me forget her, but no, it just doesn't work that way!
Suddenly, my hand twinged with a sharp pain, and I looked down to see that I had broken my pen yet again. I hate the way I become a mess after one of my dreams, because then I spend the whole day aloof and distant—well, more than usual, at least.
"Kyo-chan, are you okay?" I looked at Hani-senpai, who was looking at my red ink stained hand in concern. "You're acting strange, as if you're in pain."
My eyes widened. Was it really that obvious that I was distracted? No, it can't be that, Hani-senpai has always been especially observant. I waved my hand dismissively.
"I'm fine, Senpai, I am."
"Okay!" He marched off, cheerily, but still looked at me in suspicion.

I sat in our classroom, scrawling in my black book again. I wrote down the exact details of my dream last night. It was the same as always, and with good reason too. It so accurately depicts my relationship with Zurui.
"—ya! Kyoya!"
That voice snapped me out of my thinking, making me realize that the idiot had been trying to get my attention, and was now staring at me in confusion. I stared back.
"What?"
"Nothing, you just seemed to be zoning out. . . anyway! Look!" The idiot pointed to the front of our class; towards a very familiar figure—
I froze. The whole world came to a stop as everything else turned to dust.
It was her.
Zurui Takishima was back.
