The meeting

Nadine's POV

Today is the day that I will personally and officially meet James Reid. I'm eager. But not too excited. I hope everything turns out well and I hope everything gets settled right.

"Nadz, go get your butt off of your chair already. You know very well that today is the day that you will meet James" Miguel or Barbie, my road manager, said

"Yeah, I do Barbz... What is his full name again? James Reid, right?" I asked

"Yup. Robert James M. Reid... Isn't he a darling? Plus he is super cute" Barbie said with a face enlightened

"Pshhh... Shut up Barbz."

"Whattt? Here, lemme show you his picture" Barbie approached me and showed a picture on his cellphone

James' eyes were beautifully brown, so intense and deep. His face, chiseled, perfect. His jaw, strong and very manly.

All of a sudden, I feel my cheeks getting hot

"What now Nadine? Why are you blushing?" Barbz teased

"Pshh... Let's move along now, Miguel."

"Ew, yuck!"

"Aahahahhaha"

James' POV

"Ate Ca, aren't we supposed to meet that Nadine here?" I asked

"Yeah, but she had to run a cover shoot real quick. Her rm texted me and said that they are on the way. Be patient, James." Ate Ca explained

"Okay. Sorry, ate Ca"

"Fine"

Honk, honk

"They're here!" Ate Ca enthusiastically said

I was up on the edge of my seat. I was very  excited. I was nervous. I was thrilled. How is she gonna be? Intense? Serious? Funny? A flirt? Bubbly?

I know, I know. I should stop worrying and stop exaggerating too much. But I can't help it. For the first time, I'm going to meet a girl. A decent girl. A girl who's not going to be with me just to flirt with me or make me notice her.

So then, a girl entered with a guy. A gay? I presume. The girl was mesmerizing... Her face, perfectly shaped and contoured. Her nose perfectly pointed. Her lips, oh her lips... Her lips, red and beautiful. I wonder... Urgh! Stop, James!

She was wearing a black, racer back top which was fitted onto her and stopped above her belly button. Her top hugged her body perfectly which outlined her curves. Her flawless, flawless curves. Jaaammmesss! Stop it!!

She also wore denim jeans which were fitted, emphasizing her lower limbs. Then she had on the classic black and white adidas.

She is beyond what I could've imagined. She is so beautiful.

"Uhmm, hi. Is there any problem?" The girl asked

Then I realized I've been staring at her for quite some time now

"Oh, sorry..." I muttered

"That's alright. My name is Nadine, by the way. Nadine Lustre. But you probably knew that already anyway so, yeah" she smiled

"Hi. I'm James—Reid. We have a meeting, I believe?" I said

"Uh, yeah, I think so. Is there anyone with you?" She asked

"Yeah" I pointed to my side "This is Caryl. Or ate Ca. She's my rm." I said

"Ah, I see... Hello po" she greeted warmly with a smile and held out her hand. I like her attitude. And her positive aura.

"Hello, Nadine. Nice to meet you" ate Ca smiled back and shook her hand

"Ditto."

"What about you? Have someone with you?" I asked Nadine

"Uh, yeah, I do." She looked to her side "This is Miguel. Call her Barbie" Nadine said

"Nice to meet you, Barbie" I said with a smile and stuck out my hand

"Hi... Likewise." Barbie said and shook my hand

"Mr. Valderama of Sun and Moon Industries called us and said that you and Nadine will be in a love team–" Barbie started

"For the teleserye?" I asked

"Nope. Not only for the teleserye. But instead–" Barbie started again but he was cut off again. Not by me, by Nadine this time

"For a real love team?"

"You guys should stop interrupting me. Yes, a real love team. You will be signing a contract with Mr. Valderama tomorrow. In the meantime, Mr. Valderama told me that starting tomorrow, for three days, you guys will be spending time together to ease the worry when we start shooting" Barbie finished

Yes!

"Okay, Barbz" Nadine said

"That's okay with you?" I asked

"Well yeah, aren't you?" Nadine asked, sounding a bit offended. Oh shut, I screwed up.

"I am. It's just that I thought you'll be like the other girls who won't spend time with me alone because they picture me like some sort of girl-eating monster" I joked. She didn't laugh.

Huh. Tough nut to crack, eh?

"Listen here, Mr. Reid" she said and kept on stepping forward while me backward until my back hit the wall

"I'm not like just any other girl you've EVER met in your entire life. I'm not weak. I'm not afraid. And I. Am. Not. A. Flirt. Don't even think about messing with me. I'm not a girl you'll wanna mess with. Don't even try anything silly or else" she threatened me but I couldn't help but smile

Oh hell she's just too cute. But intimidating, sophisticated, and serious at the same time

"What the hell are you smiling about, Reid?" Nadine asked seriously and in confusion

"Nothing, Madame" I said

"Good." She said and turned her back at me but I grabbed her hand forcing her to face me

She looks in my eyes. Her eyes were intense. Beautiful I thought.

I hold her by the small of her back

I winked at her

She rolls her eyes

I lean in closer

Then....

She puts her index finger on my lips

"Don't dare" she muttered, sounding as if she was almost breathless

"Oh, I dare" I whispered, grinned playfully and winked

She gulped

"Don't even try to do anything silly, Reid" Nadine warned

Then....
