I've been keeping that thing on for 12 months. My Christmas and New Year, I spent in Makati where my family lives. Nadine did so aswell because her family lives there, too. February came and still we were with our families since we were waiting on Valentines. The agency allowed us, too.

For the rest of out leave, Nadine and I have been seeing each other. Going on friendly dates.

"Heyyy" Nadine shakes me off my reverie

"Oh. Uh, hey" I say

"What have you been thinking about?? I've been gabbing on and on. Are you even listening?"

"Yeah. I'm sorry. Come again?"

"I said that JaDine Day is coming up this June 15th and that Mr. Valderama from Sun and Moon agency wants to meet us ASAP" Nadine explains

"Well what did ate Ca and Barbz say?" I ask

"They said they set up an appointment tomorrow. 11 o'clock in the morning"

"Okay." I say. A pregnant pause follows.

"Aren't you happy? We've been JaDine for almost a year! Yay!" Nadine says enthusiastically

"Well, yeah. But I'm happier that JaDine became partners in crime in real life" I say

"I know. I mean, I didn't even notice it was already February..."

Yes, it has been almost a year. And it has been the best I've ever had in my entire life. And all this was because Nadine entered in my life. My life became bubbly. And I'm glad we add color to each other's lives. Pulling each other from darkness and away from dangers, side by side. I'm glad we're partners in crime. But I want something more. I want... I want more of her. She's helped me accomplish the things I've dreamed of. She's been a part of my life. And for the past year, I finally felt grand in someone else's company.

"I bet you didn't know I could be like this..." No, no, no, James!! You're spoiling the plan! Get a hold of yourself! "It's different when I'm in love" ohhh Gods. Now I blew it.

"Why, are you in love?" She asks

Whoo... I guess it's now or never

"Yes, I am" I finally say the words I was so scared to say.

A long silence accompanied us after. Nadine was just staring at me, frozen, with a cheeky smile glued on her face.

"Please, say something" I said to break the long, deafening silence

"Kilig ako" Nadine says and again, glues a cheeky smile on her face

I put my hand over hers which was on the table. She looks straight in my eyes with a wide smile and twinkling eyes. I look at hers with a smile

"I love you"

Heyy!! I know, I know. Enough with the stupid cliff hangers already. But, eyy, how will you be interested and up on the edge of your seats? Sorry if the update is kinda lame, my original work got deleted accidentally because of my sudden nervousness or maybe gladness which struck my heart because I asked a sign from our Almighty Father and the sign became true (don't worry, the sign I asked for wasn't with regards to the story. It's kinda like for my personal life) sooo my clumsiness lead to my hand loosing grip on my phone and my brother kinda pressing something making my chapter delete. I was kinda pissed and annoyed and that's the reason why the chapter is short compared to my other chapters. I was reading other JaDine fanfics and began to think, "All these other authors don't update regularly but a whole lot of people read their stories. I update my stories regularly yet anyone barely reads it. So, my dear readers, I need your full cooperation. Get this story to atleast 5% more reads and get this chapter atleast 5 votes, most preferably more than 5 but 5 will do. If those measures are reached, I will update chapter 13.
