~Part I~
James
Today is Nadine's birthday. I asked Barbie and Candice of what Nadine would like for her birthday.
It's 7 am. Nadine is still in bed. We had a really long day yesterday. I don't even know why I'm up this early. I'm not usually a morning person– another thing Nadine and I have in common.
We both hate mornings. We both hate the fact that we have to start things all over again. We both hate that the moon and stars are nowhere to be seen. That they disappeared. We both don't know why people trade the beautiful night sky for a sunny morning.
But yet, we chose to be actors even if we both know the fact that we had to wake up early in the morning for shootings and guestings.
I know. Weird, isn't it? But I like it.
However, much of a misfortune had befallen me, they weren't able to give me any tip of what Nadine would like for her birthday. They say Nadine is more sentimental than materialistic. She loves peace and quiet.
I know where to take her, but I still need a decent gift, right?
So I did of the most thinkable– and yes. I contacted Elizabeth Hope Soberano. How did I get her number? Simple enough. I asked none other than Barbie. So reliable.
Contacting...
Liza: Hello? Who is this?
James: Hi. Is this Elizabeth Hope Soberano?
Liza: Speaking. And you are?
James: James–James Reid, madame.
Liza: Ohh... James. Nadine's new partner, if I'm correct?
James: Yes, yes I am.
Liza: So what can I do for you, James?
James: Well, I was hoping that, if you could help me with something, that'd be great.
Liza: And I presume that something is Nadine's birthday?
James: Yes, yes it is.
Liza: So what do you need my help for? Her first birthday with you as her on-screen partner.
James: Yes. And I want to make it special for her, being her new friend. So I was wondering. If you could help me find a gift for her...
Liza: You probably know by now that Nadine is sentimental and not materialistic, right?
James: Yes, right. But I still want to give Nadine a decent gift.
Liza: Well, there are these two things she's been irritating me about.
James: Go on...
Liza: A book, Paper Towns by John Green and this charm bracelet. I'll go send you the photo.
James: Okay, thanks so much, Elizabeth.
Liza: Drop the Elizabeth. Only Nadine calls me that. Call me Liza or Liz.
James: Okay. Thank you, Liz.
Liza: You're welcome. Any friend of Nadine is a friend of mine.
James: Okay. I have to get going now, bye.
Liza: Byeee.
~end call~
Well, Liza is nice. But I don't have the time to compliment on her, no offense. Why the hell am I still talking to myself? Work, work, work!
