~Boy or Girl?

I'm so excited and happy... Bukod sa okay na nga si James, today is the day we'll know the baby's gender and recent condition.

I'm 7 months pregnant and in 2 months I'll give birth.

James and I went in my ob-gyn, Ms. Rose's office. I laid in the bed and James held my hand.

"Okay, Nadine.. Ready to see the baby and know the gender?" Dra. Rose asked me

"Yes, doctor. We're ready." I said and looked at James who was holding my hand and smiling

"See that? Your baby's healthy, Mr and Mrs Reid." Dra. Rose said

Tears of joy trickled down my cheeks.. I couldn't be happier. My husband has recovered and my baby's healthy despite of the things we've gone through. Life at its finest.

"What's the baby's gender, doc?" James asked

"Congratulations, James and Nadine! Your having a baby girl. Two of them!" Dra. Rose said gleefully

Huh?! Two of them?! Ano ako, in-alienate?!

"Huh?!" Gulat na sabi namin ni James

"Yes, Mr and Mrs Reid! You're having twins!" Sabi ni Dra. Rose "That's why your tummy is double the size of 7 months pregnant women."

Ahh.. Kaya pala

I looked at James na naluluha na. I'm having twins. My only dream was to live a happy life with the man I love and our child. But I never thought I'd have two little baymaxes..

After ng 9 years as his love team partner, 9 years as his best friend, 2 years as his girl friend, and 8 months as his wife.. We're finally heading on and building our own family.

After my ob-gyn appointment, we got Mom, Dad, Daddy Malcolm, Lauren, and Jack to meet us in a restaurant called Italiano.

James

"Ma, Pa, Dad, Lauren, Jack.. We have good news for you." I said, smiling

"What is it, my good boy?" Papa, Nadine's dad, asked me

"Yeah, James.. What is it?" Lauren asked me

I looked at Nadine signaling her to tell everyone the news but she signaled me to tell the first one first. Don't ask.

"Well, first things first, the doctor issued me disease free." I said, flashing a big grin on my face and so did Nadine.

Everyone's jaw dropped while Nadine and I just laughed.

"S-seriously?!" Jack asked me. We really are alike. The same reaction I had.

"James, I have no time for jokes." Dad said

"That goes for me aswell." -Lauren

"I'm serious. As hell." I said

"Aaaahhhhaaaa!!! Yeahs!" Pa said gleefully

"Good for you, my son!" Dad said and smiling from eyeball to eyeball. Kidding.

"Pero meron pa po.." Nadine said with a cheeky smile and looked at me. I signaled her to tell everyone.

"We're having a baby girl.." She said

"Waahhh!!! Finally!" Lauren said gleefully

"Two of them." I said and everyone looked at each other "We're having twins."

"Aaaaahhhhhhaaaaa!!! Yeahs!" Ma said

"Kyaaaaaaaaaa!!!!" Lauren squealed

"Congrats, my boy! You scored on my daughter big time!" Pa said which made Dad laugh

"Double the trouble." Jack said to Dad and Pa and they high fived each other

Nadine and I looked at each other and laughed

"Oh, kiss! Kiss!" Everyone said and slapped their spoons onto their glasses

And I kissed her

"James, Nadine, hindi pa ba kayo nag uusap tungkol sa kasal nyo sa simbahan?" Ma asked

"Hindi pa po eh, Ma. Sa ngayon po, sina baby muna ang priority." I answered

"Ahh.. That's good. Kailan kayo mamimili ng gamit para sa mga bata?"

"Well, ang balak ko po kasi bukas bago magtrabaho si James. Kasi okay na sya, panigurado hindi ako bag tatrabahuhin nyan." Nadine said and she's right..

She's done her part. It's time to do mine.
