Chapter Fifteen

Annora's POV

I slowly began to wake up. I noticed first that I was laying on a bed. It was not a hospital bed but not nearly as comfortable as a regular bed. The pain in my leg was gone as well so enough time had passed for me to fully heal.

I slowly opened my eyes only to quickly shut them again. It was morning and light was pouring in. I groaned, rolling to my side.

Hearing a chuckle from the side of the bed I shot up.

There he was, my gorgeous mate staring down at me. He was getting dressed, pulling a black shirt over his muscuar frame. As soon as he was covered I shook my head trying to clear the unwated thoughts from my mind.

"Good morning," he said with a grin.

"Good thing your up. As much as I'd like to stay in bed with you all day I have duties to attened to."

" You sleep your mornings away Annora," he scolded with laughter in his eyes.

My face burned. Stay in bed with me all day? He slept with me?! I tried to be angry but I coudnt, I liked the thought of him sleeping next to me.

Ugh stop it! stop it! stop it!!!

I had to stop thinking like that. I nodded my head and looked at my surroundings. we were in a hotel room by the looks of it. Must be where he was staying on his way to Blue Moon territory. I was suprised he hadnt taken me back to Red Fang since mates were suppose to be really over protective, especially Alpha mates. Instead it seems he planned to cart me along into a war.

He stood there watching me silently. I could tell he was holding something in since his eyes weren't the golden brown I remembered but instead turning black.

"Where are my friends?" I asked. I was suprised Luke had yet to find me and steal me away.

"You mean the other Rogues?" he spat in disgust.

Oh so he was one of those. Did he not realize he was mated to a Rogue? Besides Luke and the guys were nothing like alot of the others we'd run across. Alot rogues were mangly vicious creatures who looked half crazyed and killed anything in there way. Luke and the guys weren't like that, they were lethal when they needed to be but they hadn't lost their sanity like some id seen. Being a rogue was tough, these pack wolves had no idea. I'd killed wolves, I wasn't proud of it but it was kill or be killed out there. Too many people had already given their lives for my life and freedom, I wasnt about to let any wolf let their sacrifice go to waste.

"Yes. Where are they?" I demanded. His anger wasn't ganna faze me. Yes he was scary but after all he was my mate. He wouldnt hurt me.. I hope.

He stomped towards me "Your mine!," he yelled grabbing my shoulders. I gave a suprised yelp when he crushed me to his chest.

"Why do you care for them? I'm your mate! Were you sleeping with one of them? And why do you have a fucking Alpha's claim in your neck? Tell me!" he bellowed giving my shoulders a shake.

Oh shit. The Claim.

I had forgot all about that since Luke was the only one to ever ask me.

"Mine," he growled into my hair.

"Mine." Lucian was shaking uncontrollably, if he didn't calm down and quick he was ganna shift right here in the freakin hotel room.

"Ok crazy possesive Alpha, calm down." I said. My words muffled by his hard chest.

He was sniffing me everywhere, which was very uncomfortable. What the hell was he doing?

"Your still pure. Thank god" he sighed and loosened his hold, just barely.

"Explain this to me now!" he demanded in his Alpha tone, pointing at my neck.

How dare he yell at me. I may be his mate with another wolfs claim on me but he didnt know my story and I sure as hell couldn't tell him. Telling him would put him and his entire pack at risk. I couldnt let that happen. I barely knew this man, actually I didnt know him at all but I cared already, even if he was an overdramatic, possesive jerk; a hott jerk.

He wouldnt understand if I told him anyway. I couldnt stay in one place for long thats why I was safest with Luke. We constantly kept moving, not necessarily running from Robert but all packs in general. He didn't know that but still how dare he use that tone and jump to conclusions. Did I look like a whore?

"Don't you dare take that tone with me!," I snapped.

He looked shocked for a moment but quickly snapped out of it and opened his luscious lips to yell at me some more.

" No!" I said pushing him away with everything I had, the bastard only moved back a few inches and I could tell he did that just to placate me. It fuled my anger more. Stupid Alpha Male!

"Don't you dare try to blam me for something that was out of my control. Now answer my damn question! Where are my friends?"

Instead of answering he pounced on me sending me flying back into the mattress. His body sending shocks through me wherever our skin touched, making my temperature sore and my heart rate pick up.

" You were claimed against your will?" he asked his voice deadly low, face a hairs breath from mine. I shuddered under him. Boy was his temper glorious, I felt bad for Blue Moon.

If I wasnt his mate and didnt have Alpha blood in my vains I'd be cowering before him as I stared into his rage filled eyes. Luckily I was his mate and had Alpha blood running through my vains. Therefore his intimidation did nothing to faze me and instead, pushing him off me a little I reared back and punched his arrogant ass straight in the nose.

Much to my amusement it didn't even faze him, all I got was a grunt in response and a glare that could melt ice. Well damn.

He growled and slowly lowered his face to mine. "You will never do that again. You maybe my mate but dont think I wont put you in your place for disrespecting your Alpha." His voice was so deadly calm that I knew he meant it. I layed there in shock and fear. Had I pushed him to far?

His eyes lightened seeing my fear and quickly got off of me. "Don't fear me Annora, never fear me. I will protect you with my life. Now I have to go, we'll discuss that claim when im back."

Lucian headed for the door still fuming.

" Where are you going?" I asked sitting up.

Lucian stopped at the door and studied me for a moment, debating on wheather to tell me or not. Locking his eyes on mine, he gave me a malicious smile "War," he stated and walked out the room.

It took everything I had to suppress the urge to call him back.
