Blake's P.O.V.
I shouldn't be this mad. Anna made it clear that she loves me, but I know these types of guys. He's not going to stop until he gets Anna. I can't let that happen. I can't lose her again to some doofus who's just going to hurt her. She may not see it now, but I scared that she'll leave me to go with him. Especially if she still has his number. I've been sitting up in bed since last night. I haven't slept a wink. I know she's just going to keep reassuring me but that guy...I don't feel good about him. My phone chimes next to me. It's Anna. I can't answer her right now. I have to think of what to do. I can't let Josh take her away from me.
Anna's P.O.V.
I've called him five times and he's ignored all of them.
"Come on Blake." I text him instead.
Hey babe. I just want to make sure that your okay. Please don't avoid me. Call me
I send the message and wait. Thirty minutes later I'm still staring at my phone. I can't take this. I grab my keys and a jacket and head to Blake's house. His car is out front so I know that he's home. I go and knock on the front door. His mom answers.
"Anna." She says. She doesn't open the door wide like she normally does to let me in, but instead she holds the door close to her body.
"Can I please see Blake?" She gives me a sympathetic look. She shakes her head.
"I'm sorry, but he knew that you would come and he told me not to let you in." She apologizes and closes the door in my face. I look up to Blake's window and I see his curtains move. I frown. Why doesn't he want to see me? I huff and get back into my car. I start it up and drive back home feeling defeated.
