Michelle's P.O.V.

He took me to the dance floor and pulled me close to him.

"Michelle, you look perfect. I mean you always look perfect I just-"

"I got it Shaun. Thank you." I blush. He leans in closer.

"Would it be too premature to kiss you right now?" I shake my head no. He lightly presses his lips against mine. My arms are wrapped around his neck and I savor the taste of his lips. They taste slightly of wine and spearmint gum. He pulls back and smiles.

"I'd like to take you out again, if you'd like to." This is so crazy. No guy has ever asked to date me. They just kept coming back assuming that we were together.

"I'd like that a lot." I tell him. He grins.

"Our foods here. Come on." He leads me back to our table and pulls out my chair.

"Enjoy your meal." Christie says smiling at Shaun a while longer than necessary. He thanks her while he is looking at me. I blush and smile.this kind of attention is nice. He's not trying to just use me, he's being sweet and faithful on the first date. I just hope that I can be good enough for him and whatever future we have together.

Anna's P.O.V.

I'm not the greatest dancer and Blake knows it. I've stepped on his feet a couple of times but he's pretended not to notice. He just said smiles and reassures me.

"You look amazing tonight Anna." I blush. "And I'm so lucky that you forgave me. I swear I'll be so loyal you'll start calling me "boy"." I laugh at his words but he doesn't join me.

"Anna. I'm serious. I've caused you a lot of pain and I never want to see you like that again." I can't say anything, so I just kiss him. I try to put all of my love into that one kiss. It's slow and passionate and it's perfect. He's perfect. This night is perfect. I break away and whisper,

"I love you so freaking much Blake." He pulls me off of my feet. He places me on top of his shoes but grimaces when my heels stab his toes.

"Oh! I'm so sorry!" I move from on top of his feet and take my heels off and throw them towards the table. He smiles and picks me back up. He keeps me on his toes as he sways us side to side.

"Blake?"

"Hm?" He grunts. His chin is resting on top of my head. Saying I love you doesn't describe the way I feel about Blake. Those are just words. I do love him, but it's more than that."

"Anna?" He takes his chin off my head to look down at me.

"I can't even begin to explain how much I love you." He tucks a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Anna-"

"Your food is ready and waiting for you." Our waiter comes and interrupts us to say. He looks at me and winks. I have to hold Blake back from pouncing on the guy.

"I'm here with you Blake. No one else."

"I'm sorry Anna. Let's just go eat." I have to give him a little tug for him to start actually moving towards the table. Eventually he sits down and we start eating. Occasionally the waiter pull come over asking how the food is and he would linger for far too long. Once the check came, he handed it to me.

"Why would he give you the check? What is he, feminist?" I take a look inside the check holder. On the check attached is a post it note saying,

Josh

Call me

I quickly snatch the sticky note from the check before Blake can see. I know he would be beyond angry if he were to see this, and I don't want to ruin the night.

"What's wrong?" He asks.

"Nothing." I say. I put my heels back on and Blake leaves the money and we make our way towards the exit.

"Have a good night." Blake glares at Josh.

"I'll get the car, stay here." He walks out the door and starts jogging to the car to pull it up to the front.

"So what's your name?" Josh asks. I turn to look out the door so Blake won't see that I'm talking to him. He hasn't reached the car yet.

"Look. I don't know why you think that it was okay to flirt with me while I was on a date, but I'll clarify. I'm taken and I'm not a cheat." He smirks causing a dimple to show.

"They all cave at some point. Call me, and have a good night gorgeous." He walks away. Why did his words just make me shiver? I shake it off as Blake pulls up around the curb. He hops out to open my door.

"Did that idiot try and talk to you?"

"No, he just thanked me for coming." He looks unsure about my response but he starts to drive to my house.

"So...are you going to be staying here now?" I shrug. We're standing on my porch.

"I don't know what I'll do. I'm glad that mom is trying to find someone else, but what-"

"No Anna. I've set her straight and she doesn't want to hurt you anymore than she already has. She's going to leave me alone." I breathe. He kisses my cheek.

"I'll come over tomorrow, okay?" I nod and give him a light smile. I open the door. "Anna." I turn and he surprises me with a kiss. He pulls away smirking. He doesn't have a dimple like Josh. Stop.

"Goodnight Blake." He smiles.

"Goodnight beautiful."

It's one in the morning and mom still isn't home yet. I've just been scrolling through Twitter and Instagram seeing what's happening, and then I hear the door open and close.

"Mom?"

"Anna? What are you doing up?" I roll my eyes and run down the stairs.

"How'd it go?" She grins unable to hold in the excitement. I listen to my mom gush about how amazing dinner and Shaun were. About the waitress and how he never paid her any attention, and how he kissed her. Gross. I was happy for her, her face brightened up when she talked about hi and it made me sick. A good sick but still sick. I hug her and head back to my room. I put my red dress back in the closet. As I hang it back up, a piece of paper floats to the ground. It's the post it note with Josh's number on it.
