Chapter 23 Miracles from Heaven

                                                                     Destiny's pov

I heard the gunshot go off I was scared to look out the bedrrom door, I didn't know if the man was still there or if Nash has shot him. I stood up grew some balls and held Daniel to my chest tight and walked out to see the one thing I didn't want to see.

"Nash!!!" I yelled I sat the baby down on the couch and ripped some fabric from my shirt and wrapped it around his arm the wound was at his shoulder blade and it was not bleading as bad as it would of if he would of shot him in his arm. I called 911 and told them what happened as far as me applying pressure to his wound they said they would be here in about 8 to 10 minutes. Then I called Jasmine to see if she could watch Daniel, "hello?" she answered "yes, Jasmine it's Destiny I was calling to see if you could watch Daniel there has been an incident involving Nash" I was scared and nervous "Yes I will leave right now and come pick him up" she said and then hung up the phone.

About another 5 minutes passed by me still applying pressure to the wound, Jasmine soon showed up and took Daniel she wanted to stay but I refused, as she left I sat there quietly every second felt like an hour of not knowing if he would surive or not. They soon arrived and rushed quickly through my broken down door, and took him on a gurney and to the hosipital.

I followed them to the hospital in the back of the ambulance "One,Two,Three Push" they yelledto lne another over and over again they couldn't get  his heart rate back to normal he had lost to much blood. I grabbed onto his hand "Nash, you can't leave me I need you with me I can't do this without you, please don't leave me" a tear slowly slipped out of my eye. He had no muscle in his hand so it was just my hand gripping his,when we did arrive to the hospital they were rushing him to a room on the 2 floor where they keptmajor injury patients "Miss you have to wait in the waiting room" the main doctor said to me. "No that's my fiance I'M NOT LEAVING HIS SIDE!" I yelled from the built of saddness and anger. "Security" he yelled and secuirty came and took me away "No let me go I'm not leaving his side" I yelled and fought but soon gave up knowing that I couldn't do anything and let the doctors do their job.

I went and sat in the waiting room and about 2 hours of sitting i decided to give Jasmine a call. "Hey how's Daniel doing?" I asked "oh he's fine Matts been doing his dinosaur empression keeping him entertained" she said giggling I could hear mad in the back ground "How's Nash?'" she asked "Honestly I don't know they wont let me be in the room with him right now they said he lost a lot of blood and their trying to get his heart rate from dropping" I said trying to stay strong "well I'll let you go so  you can get back to him" she them hung up

I walked back up to the second floor and apologized to the doctor, he said I could go in and see him since they removed the bullet from his arm and stitched it up. I went and sat down on his right side since his leftarm got shot I grabbed his hand and held it tight, if he was here he would say something stupid but cute like ' I'm not going anywhere unless your coming with me so stop trying to steal my hand' and I would laugh he would smile. I sat back in the chair and just thought out loud " I have always loved you since the first day of kindergarden even if I didn't fully understand what love was back then but I did, I remember when you would always share you cookies with me and would help me with math since I sucked at it, but all that changed in highschool you got super hot and got all the girls we were still friends but not as close, all those girls asked you out but you rejected them, but when I finally had the courage to ask you out and you said yes and we were happy for 11 months almost a year but then you had to move in with your aunt because of problems at home so we broke up. I never told you this I lied about it when you came back I said I had found someone else but I didn't all I did while you were gone was cry and wonder when you would be back or hand out with Jasmine, I kept all our pictures I told you I burned them but I lied I kept them and looked at them every day and wished things were back to the way they were. Man I missed you, when you did come back for senior year and had a new girlfriend that really broke me, but I still loved you"

Tears were just pouring out of my eyes... Then a miracle happened his grip on my hand became tighter "You lied to me" he said softly "Nash, is that really you?" I asked still wondering if maybe I was dreaming "I Love you so much" he said smiling I climbed onto the hospital bed with him he put his right arm around me and I soon drifted asleep him doing the same....
