So far everything has been calm and there's nothing left to fully think through just yet. The holidays are coming and everyone is fairly excited to celebrate them all. Christmas was going to be a bit difficult, but even so everyone was up for spending it together. For now it's time for the Halloween spirit and everyone thought it would be great to set up a haunted house located at Jake's own house by the beach.

"Hold on for a sec, we are by the beach that's too much a calm area and with the sounds of the sea there's not much silence or suspense to add," Jake says.

"That's a good point," Roxy says.

"How about we use our own house Roxy? It's big enough and can put more activities than the amount for Jake's house," Rose suggests.

"Well we would need to be careful Rosy because the house is like super duper filled with our awesome shit!"

"We can hide all of the equipment underground it's is just fine so there's no need to worry,"

"Alright! Our house it is then!" She shouts.

Despite the encouragement to celebrate Halloween it left Jake with a rather ill feeling. Halloween is a night where people walk around collecting candy specifically children and their parents. Others would be throwing parties like they are, but it's a night where anything could happen to anyone. And right now both worlds of the supernatural, and those of hunters were both swirling in a motion of utter conflict of their next move. With both sides completely driven to a stalemate knowing that the robe is gone many vampires are not willing to hold back, and the hunters are now more paranoid over all making it difficult to hold onto their daily lives and their secret lives. Any hunter would tell you their reasons for fighting, and their experience of living double lives. It's difficult. And it's dangerous especially for their families. If push comes to shove Jake and his friends would need to take drastic measures in order to achieve their goals. Which included preventing as many casualties as they could. Fortunately, they had a plan already set up.

"Jake..jake snap out of it," Jake snaps his head up and comes face to face with Dirk.

"Huh? W..what is it?"

"Are you okay?" He asks.

"Um..Y..yes just got caught in my thoughts is all..."

"What are you thinking about now?" He asks. Jake glances to the side with a frown. Dirk sighs and pulls him into his arms allowing him to lean his face into his chest.

"It's okay...Jake there's nothing to worry about just yet...can you please just live in the moment for now?"

"I...I...can't...guarantee anything Dirk....but..I'll try."

"Good," Dirk kisses his head and takes his hand. "Let's go ahead and help out the girls set up the decor for their house alright?

"Sure!"

'For now I have to just...stop worrying until this celebration is over, and then think over everything. Despite my leader role...I can't do it...Gadzooks...this will be hard...' he thinks as he goes along and helps the others with the decoration.

As the day of Halloween closes in on them, Jake just couldn't shake off his bad feeling within his gut. Intuition from being a hunter you could call it or intuition that developed since his time spent on his island. Either way his intuition was telling him to be wary. Very wary. And no matter what he tried there was nothing he could do to prepare when he doesn't even know what's going to happen. Dirk has attempted to reassure him, but there was something that he was also feeling as well. He didn't know what it was just yet, but of course he couldn't just allow his worries to just be displayed for the world to see. It was best to approach the matter in a calm matter, without having anyone else involved. Of course, if anyone were to find out he was sure they would try to kill him for hiding his worries or they would be joining in on their worry fest.
