It was exactly how I remembered it. The walls towered high above us, leaving Woodbury virtually untouched. Abraham walked up to the gate and tried to open it, but the large chain and lock prevented it from budging.

     "It's locked." Abraham grumbled.

"No shit," I scoffed. "There's a huge fuckin' chain on it, what gave ya the impression that it'd open?"

"How in the hell do you expect us to get in then?" Rosita asked. I didn't answer. I walked closer towards the wall and followed it along the side until coming to an old car. I remembered the night Rick, Maggie, Daryl, Merle, and I escaped Woodbury after The Governor flogged me in the arena. Merle opened up the wall for an exit. They repaired it, but it might be a weak point. I began to bang my fist against the wall, trying to find the now closed up opening. THUD! THUD! THUD! THUD! BANG!

"There." Abraham gently pushed me aside and lifted his boot, kicking the wall in. I peered inside and smiled. "All clear." I walked through the opening and stepped to the side, helping Eugene and everyone else climb through.

"Good gracious, Ignatius." Abraham said in awe. "Ya wanted to escape this?"

     "This is paradise." Rosita added.

"Oh, it was paradise, alright." I scoffed. "Ya look in from the outside and it looks like a dream come true, until ya see what happens behind closed doors."

     "What exactly happened here anyways?"

"Shit." I sighed. "Shit happened." I moved some tires in front of the hole in the wall and led everyone into the town square, nothing but silence. "We should spread out, find some supplies."

"We're here for the vehicle." Abraham stated.

"Yeah, but do ya honestly think I'm givin' you all our food once we part ways? You're gonna need supplies. Hopefully there's some left, Rick locked it up, but I don't know if he ever raided the place for supplies."

     "Where's the vehicles?"

"Should be behind the town hall building down the street." I pointed off down the road. "Big buildin' has a huge Woodbury sign outside it, ya can't miss it."

"Eugene, come with me, everyone else spread out and look for supplies." Abraham, Eugene, and Rosita walked off, leaving me and Tara behind.

"Michaela?" Tara called out to me from a few yards away. "You coming?"

"Yeah." I sighed. "I just need to do somethin' first." I walked past Tara and made my way up the street before stopping in front of a small off-white house. I took a deep breath and opened the door, everything was the same, just as I left it.

"Welcome home, baby girl." Merle smiled from the couch.

"Where've you been? I haven't seen ya since last night."

"I was there, you've just been too busy to notice."

"Sorry if I was busy beatin' Eugene's ass to notice." I rolled my eyes sarcastically.

"Hey now, I warned ya about Eugene watchin' ya." He chuckled.

"No you didn't, I heard-" I paused for a moment and Merle smiled as he nodded. "You made that noise?"

"Sure did, damn near scared the pants out of that Eugene fella too. I threw a rock at 'em, he jumped so high he fell into the wall." Merle doubled over in laughter.
