"Bob!" Sasha cried as she, Maggie, Glenn, Rick, and I ran out the doors up to Bob.
"His leg." Maggie gasped. We all looked down at his leg only to see a stump.
"Oh, my God." I gasped. GRAAAAAGH! I looked up as a few walkers walked towards us. "Walkers!"
"Get Bob inside." Glenn ordered. "We'll take care of them." Glenn used the butt of his gun to smash in the skull of a walker in front of him.
"Can you help me, please?" Sasha whimpered. "Help me." Maggie bent down and helped Sasha pick up Bob and carry him inside. I raised my pistol and took aim at the walkers. POP! POP! POP! POP! Rick fired his gun, taking out the walkers to the left.
"GET INSIDE!" Rick ordered. Rick looked over his shoulder at me. "GO!" I quickly nodded and ran after Sasha and Maggie.
"Get 'em on the floor up front!" I ordered. Sasha and Maggie gently placed Bob on the ground in the font of the sanctuary, backing up to give me some room to examine him. "Bob!" I gently shook Bob's unconscious body. "Bob, can ya hear me?" No response. "Someone get in my bag and grab the bandages and alcohol." Rosita quickly ran over to my bag and grabbed the materials, tossing them to me. I unsheathed my knife and put a slit in his pants, ripping off the pant leg at his thigh. The hack job was sloppy, I couldn't sew the skin together, it'd have to be cauterized. I knew it was a waste of time anyways, but I was keeping my promise to Bob up until the end. I poured some alcohol into my hands, rubbing them together to sanitize myself before pouring some onto Bob's leg.
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Bob cried out in pain.
"It's okay." Sasha reassured. "It's us, you're safe. It's okay." Bob looked up at everyone and let out a sigh before propping himself up on his elbows.
"Bob, what happened?" Maggie asked. as I bandaged his leg.
"I was in the graveyard." Bob answered. "Somebody knocked me out. I woke up outside this place, looked like a school." Gabriel approached us and covered his mouth in horror at the sight of Bob. "It was that guy, Gareth, and five other ones." I clenched my fists in anger. We should've killed them when we had the fucking chance. "They were eating my leg right in front of me, like it was nothing, all proud like they had it all figured out."
"Did they have Daryl and Carol?" Rick asked.
"Gareth said they drove off."
"Why would they just get up and leave?" Tyreese asked.
"They must've saw somethin'." I reassured. "They'll be back, and if they ain't back by mornin', I'm goin' after 'em, no if's, and's, or but's about it." Bob groaned as he reached for his stump.
"He's in pain. Do we have anything?" Sasha asked.
"I think there are pill packets in the first aid kit." Rosita answered.
"Save 'em." I argued.
"No. Bob's in pain. Rosita, get the packets."
"No." Bob added.
"Bob-"
"Really." Bob looked up at me and I gave him a nod. He carefully sat up and pulled the collar of his shirt down, exposing the bite. "It happened at the food bank."
"It's okay." Sasha whimpered as she stroked Bob's cheek.
"The only thing I can do, is make 'em comfortable." I sighed. "We should move 'em to his room." Sasha turned to me and gently nodded.
