"Oh, my God." Glenn shuddered as he ran towards Maggie, embracing her in a tight hug as she cried into the crook of his neck while Abraham, Eugene, Rosita, Bob, and Sasha smiled at us. I instantly walked past Glenn and made a beeline for Abraham.
"Are ya alright?" Abraham asked. I didn't answer and quickly wrapped my arms around him, causing him to grunt as I squeezed the air from his lungs.
"I never thought I'd be so happy to see your ginger ass." I smiled.
"Yeah, well, blame Eugene." I looked over at Eugene who slightly smiled.
"You?"
"He wanted to navigate while I slept in the back of our van. Led Rosita to the other side of the tunnel instead of leadin' 'er towards Washington. Said y'all should've been walkin' out of there at that moment, that was when we found these people." I walked up to Eugene and smiled.
"You did this?"
"I knew that if you three were still alive and there were no significant delays and y'all continued travelin' at an approximately three miles per hour, and I did in fact time it correctly in my head, that y'all would've been leavin' the tunnel soon after we pulled up." Eugene stated. "After I save the world, I still gotta live with myself, I couldn't leave y'all behind." I smiled again and wrapped my arms around his neck, placing a small peck on his cheek.
"Thank you, Eugene. You saved our lives."
"It was nothin'." Eugene blushed. I looked back at Abraham and motioned him to follow me over to Tara. He, Glenn, Bob, and I pulled on the rock as hard as we could and it finally moved off her foot and onto the ground.
"Bob, can ya look at 'er foot for me?"
"Sure." Bob draped his arm around Tara and helped her down the tunnel.
"I'm gonna go secure the end of the tunnel." Rosita stated. I nodded as she walked past me.
"Hey." Sasha smiled as she walked up to me.
"Hey." I smiled back and gave her a hug. "I'm so glad y'all are alright."
"We're glad you're okay, too. When we last saw you, you and The Governor were fighting, we saw you go down, we thought the worst. I'm sorry we didn't-"
"Don't be. I told y'all if it gets bad to go, and ya did just that. I don't blame ya."
"So, is he..?"
"Yeah," I nodded. "but other than Glenn, you guys are the only ones we've found so far."
"What about that new girl?"
"Tara." I smiled. "She hid when The Governor attacked, found 'er when I was lootin' the bodies for guns and ammo. When she heard what I was doin' she said she had to help me. She's just that kind of person. We've been together ever since."
"And you trust her?" Sasha asked.
"Yeah. She didn't want any part of it, didn't even try to kill me when I found 'er. She's trustworthy."
"Michaela." Maggie smiled as she walked up to me.
"Hey, Maggie." I smiled back and gave her a hug.
"Are ya alright? Glenn told me about the group y'all ran into."
"I'll be fine." I sighed. "Just took me some people to make me realize that I can't push away those who are tryin' to help me."
