Danielle Gilbert

Hi, my name is Danielle Gilbert and my Birthday is 10th June 1992. 

When I was a baby I was left on the doorstep of the Gilbert's, they adopted me and made me a part of their family. I grew up with my adoptive brother and sister; Jeremy and Elena Gilbert. And they have been part of my life since I can remember. We have been through so much together. 

When I was 17 me and my siblings experienced something we never expected to happen so quickly. Our parents tragically passing away on Wickery Bridge during the Spring in an accident, luckily though my older sister survived. Due to everything that had happened we ended up living with our Aunt Jenna.

Those past few months after the incident had been really hard for all of us but I managed to get through, with Elena by my side the whole time. We helped each other through it all and in some way it made us closer. Unlike our brother Jeremy who had turned to drugs to help cope with our loss.

I should probably tell you a little bit more about myself instead of drowning you with my tragic memories. 

Where can I start......

I suppose I'm not always sad and taking sympathy from others. I'm actually really fun to be around. Since I'm happy, friendly, honest, a perfectionist, brave, slightly aggressive, self-conscious and sarcastic.

I love drawing it helps me to relax and express my emotions. You could say that I use it as a way of control so I don't spiral into a whirlwind of emotions. 

I like to drink and party but I don't do it very often since everything that has happened.

Well I think that's enough about me for now. 

How about I tell you the story of how my life changed for the better.

It all started with the first day of Junior year.......
