Comet and Complications

Stefan's PoV

I left my brother at the house while I went to go to the hospital to compel Vicky Donavan. Telling her that it was an animal that attacked her not a vampire, in hopes of fixing the problem that Damon had caused. It seemed to be okay, even though I'm not fully strong enough to do compulsion since I don't feed off humans.

I make my way back to my house but when I get there, I find that Damon is there talking to Elena and Dani, even though I told him not to get involved with them. After an awkward confrontation with me they both left, leaving me with Damon.

"Ooh, great gal and Dani she's extremely feisty," Damon says to me, "you on the other hand look pooped."

"Did you over work yourself today, let me guess hospital," Damon continues.

"Someone had to clean up your mess," I say.

"Well were you successful? Did the powers of persuasion work?" Damon asks, "remember if you don't feed properly none of them little tricks work right."

"How long was Elena and Dani here?" I say, ignoring his previous statement.

"Are you worried Stefan," Damon teases me, "scared we may be doomed to repeat the past with Elena."

"Isn't that the reason why you play your game being a high school human," Damon taunts me.

"I'm not playing any game," I say.

"Of course you are, we both know the closest you will ever get to humanity is when you rip it open and feed on it," he says to me, walking up to me, whispering that last bit in my ear.

"What kind of game are you playing?" I ask him, turning to face him once again.

"Guess you'll just have to wait and see won't you," Damon says, walking away.

Danielle's PoV

"He's on the rebound and has raging family issues," Elena says, complaining to Jenna about what happened earlier. We were making dinner for all of us.

"Well at least it's an ex girlfriend, wait till you date a guy with mommy issues or cheating issues," Jenna says to Elena.

Elena shrugs in response, while I give small chuckle.

Just then the front door opens and in walks Jeremy.

"Jeremy," Jenna starts, "Jeremy where were you?" She begins shouting at him, walking over to the stairs in which he is now walking up.

"More stoner stories look Jenna I get you were cool once and that's cool," Jeremy says to her before walking up the stairs.

"Oh, no, no, no, no," Jenna says extremely annoyed and throws an apple at Jeremy.

"Ouch, why, why, why did you do that?" Jeremy says to her.

"Listen up, quite ditching class or your grounded. No discussion," Jenna states at him using her authority. It doesn't do much though.
