Dani's PoV

I walked into Elena's room to find her and Stefan hanging out. I walked in and sat over by the window.

"Hey guys, hope I'm not intruding," I say.

"No it's fine," Elena states.

"So how are you?" I ask her.

"I'm fine I'm just trying to figure out who this man is," she informs.

Last night before we went to sleep Elena told me everything that happened after she got into an accident and then traveled to Georgia with Damon.

"Stefan, who was that man in the road?" Elena asks.

"I don't know. Do you remember anything else about him?" He replies.

"I wish. I never really saw his face. He was wearing a hoody. All I can remember is that there was these black boots coming towards me," Elena informs us.

"Don't worry Elena," I say. She smiles at me.

Stefan then grabs a box off the bed and hands it to Elena.

"I brought some vervain. For um...for you, Dani and Jenna. And I made this bracelet for Jeremy," he says opening the box, "few extra ones for friends."

I moved over to Stefan and Elena to get a closer look.

"What else can you do with vervain?" I ask.

Stefan looks at me, "you can put it in jewelry, or you can even put it in food or drink, but as long as it's in you or on you, a vampire can't control you."

"Wow, so much to remember," Elena states. I nod in agreement.

"I know, but there's another vampire in town, so until we find out who it is and what he wants, we have to be careful," Stefan informs both of us.

We nod in response.

Suddenly we hear the doorbell ring. Jeremy gets it and shouts up to me and Elena.

Elena rushes down to the door and pays for the pizza we ordered. I quickly follow her and notice that Jeremy had invited him in. I was a little uncomfortable knowing about vampires and invites but let it slide since a pizza delivery guy is usually harmless.

Once the man leaves me and Elena walk over to the table and eat, since we knew Stefan had gone back to the boarding house.

The next morning me and Elena make our way to school with a few of the bits of jewelry containing vervain.

Elena went off to find Caroline will I searched for Bonnie.

I finally found her sat on a bench reading her notes.

"Hey Bonnie," I greet.

She looks up and smiles.

"Hey Dani, where's Elena?"
