Children Of The Damned

Dani's PoV

I woke up early the next day, to find Damon laying next to me on my bed.

Gasping, "Damon!" Jumping out of my bed.

"Yes," he replies casually.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

"You promised to help me get back Katherine. We start today, so go get dressed, we gotta go wake up the love birds," he replies.

I stare at him before reaching into one of my drawers for clothes, then walking into the bathroom. I shower quickly, then get dressed before walking out to Damon.

"You gotta promise you'll get me coffee on the way there," I say, tired.

"Alright, let's go."

I nod, he jumps out the window as I rush downstairs. I say goodbye to Jenna before walking out.

I rush over to Damon's car which is parked out front. I get into the passenger seat and he immediately drives off.

We finally make it to the boarding house, and Damon insists on interrupting his brother and Elena in bed.

Shaking my head I walk up to Stefan's room with Damon. He vamp speed to sit on the bed next to them.

He looks at me smirking, "Rise and Shine, sleepyheads."

They instantly pull apart in alarm and stare up at Damon.

"Damon! Please!" Elena exclaims.
"What are you doing?" Stefan complains.

"Oh stop being smutty," Damon says. I roll my eyes.

"Seriously get out of here," Stefan says.

"If I see something I haven't seen before, I'll throw a dollar at it," he replies.

I step forward, "I did try to stop him," I state, sitting on the edge of the bed next to Damon.

Damon rolls his eyes, "Now listen, we have some very important business to discuss."

"And it has to be now?" Elena questions.

"Well, we have lots to do, be now that we're all friends and working towards a common goal," Damon states.

Me, Stefan and Elena all glance at each other. I wanted Damon to be happy I just didn't want the tomb vampires getting out.

"So, in order to open the tomb, we need to find the journal to get the grimoire to undo the spells," he states, "first things first--since you are Elena Gilbert, you're on journal duty."

"Why isn't Dani helping to look for the journal, she's a Gilbert too?" Stefan asks. Elena nodding.

"Well she will be with me, splitting into two teams may help us find it quicker," Damon answers, will I just shrug in response.
