I'm Alex, and I live in New York. Not for very much longer, though. My family is moving to a suburb in Los Angeles tomorrow because my dad got a promotion or something, and so did my mom.
'Both of the job offers are in LA', my mom says, 'so moving there is a good idea.'
Not moving is a good idea, mom. I have so much here in NY and I'm not sure if I'm ready to say bye. We've lived here since I was 10. 6 years. Plus, I don't think there's gonna be people like Nate or Josh in LA.
Nate is my best friend, the type you can tell anything. He has blond hair and is about 6 feet tall. He's really athletic and stuff, but we're friends because his parents left him at our house for 3 weeks when they had gone to Rome. Earlier, I couldn't stand him, but now he's a lot less annoying.
Josh is the guy I hang out with in school, and we were in the baseball team together. He's the pitcher and I play catcher. He used to be my best friend, now he's #2. Oh yeah, he has black hair, huge muscles and hazel-brown eyes.
Today's the last day I get to hang out with them.
My life sucks.
Anyway, after I wake up, it's 10:45 on Saturday, and I call Nate and Josh over for some Call of Duty. Both are early risers, so they should be here any minute. Both Mom and Dad have gone out, probably for buying stuff.
Anyway, about 10 minutes and a cup of coffee later, Nate's here. We start up a multiplayer, and after the first match, Josh arrives. I'm better than Nate at COD, but Josh is a pro, so we team up against him. This is how the game goes:
J: DIE!
Me: Nate, get the MAUL, I'm charging with the CETME.
N: Dude, Josh is too good (sneaks up behind Josh).
J: Where is Nate? I'ma kill ya.
N: Hello!(shotgun).
GG, bros. Good game.
