Miss Martian and Superboy entered the the Auditorium of the Rouge Opera House and were ushered to their seats.
"Superboy and I are in position." Miss Martian said over the mind link.
"Copy that, we are also in position." Aqualad replied.
Superboy looked up to just barley catch a glimpse of Kid Flash at his post.
"Now Batman said that supposedly this Phantom always makes the Opera house leave Box seat 6 empty so that he can watch the show, we have to keep an eye out there too, as well as back stage." Robin said to the team as he hid in the rafters above the stage.
"That's not creepy at all." Artemis commented.
"Oh, Guys! Its starting!" Miss M said excitedly as the lights dimmed.
"Remember Miss Martian, we aren't here to see the show." Aqualad reminded her.
The team continued surveillance as the opera continued. Nearing the end of the show, the lights dimmed as a new tone of music started. Christine then entered the stage beginning her routine.
Robin watched from above in the rafters of the stage, breathless, as she elegantly glided across the stage before snapping himself out of his trance and refocusing his attention onto the mission. But then he noticed the dancer kept glancing in the same direction in the audience. He looked in that direction to see that Box number 6 was no longer empty.
"Guys, I think that's him."
The team covertly brought their attention to Box 6 to see that a man in a white mask, that covered half of his face, watching the dancer on the stage intently. The applause brought Robins attention back to the dancer who was taking her final bow before leaving the stage. Robin looked back up to find that Box 6 was now empty.
"He's gone." Wally said.
"He left as soon as that dancer did." Artemis commented.
"That can't be a coincidence." Aqualad commented.
"Maybe she's his next target?" Conner asked.
"I don't think so, none of the deaths were of performers." Miss M added.
"True but there have been reports about the performers going missing, maybe he's going after her." Robin thought.
Miss M took out the show booklet and searched to find the dancer's name in the cast.
"Christine Devine, Featured Ballet Soloist."
