~Her heart sunk into the bottom of her chest as she felt herself being pulled away from her freedom. She was spun around to face her Phantom, mask returned to rest on the whole right side of his face
"It's not too late Mi Amour, we can for get that this incident ever happened and go back to happily living our lives." his voice was a void of all emotion as he spoke. Christine fought against his hold.
"Happy?" Her voice cracked, "No, I will no longer be your doll to play with and manipulate, I'm leaving and you cannot stop me!" She forced his hand to loose grip of her but before she could begin to run towards the door he had grasped her throat in his other hand.
"You are sure this is what you want Mi Amour?" The phantom growled, "To leave me for complete strangers?"
"Anyone's company is better then yours." Christine rasped out causing his clutch on her throat to tighten.
"Fine," He hissed, "This belongs to me though, I'll keep it until you come crawling back."
Christine felt the weight of her voice dissolve. Her eyes widened, the Phantom had taken her ability to speak once again. She knew that the only way she could every get her voice back was if she were to return. The Phantom released her from his grasp and walked away as she crumpled to the floor gasping for air.
"By the way, your friends seemed to have left you behind without any recollection of your existence. How curious, I wonder how that happened." The Phantom laughed demonically, "Who's going to help you now?"
And then he was gone, leaving the echo of his evil laugh behind him.
Christine scrambled to her feet gathering her things and rushed out the back exit to see if what the Phantom had said was true. She pushed the door open to find an empty alleyway. She hastily stepped out in the the alleyway and looked around, but did not see the super teens anywhere in sight.
And then she ran, no clue where she was going but she knew anywhere was better than where she was coming from. She knew eventually that she would be declared as missing soon. She had to get out of Paris as fast as possible, but she knew she did not have enough energy to get her out of the city. Healing that raven haired boy had almost completely drained her of energy and she was only running on adrenaline now. Not to mention that she had made sure he didn't feel the pain of his spinal realignment, she felt it for him. Christine slowed herself to a jog and made her way towards the 24 hour library not too far from where she was now, that would be the best place for her to rest before she left the city.
She entered the building greeting the librarian before quickly walking up to the second level of the library. She grabbed a random book and made her way to the lounge area and got comfortable on one of the couches. Her heart rate started to normalize as she rested. She stared blankly at the book in her hands and sighed.
Her thoughts reeled back to the team of super teens who had offered to help her, she guessed the Phantom had gotten to them before they were able to escape the building and manipulated their memories to forget her. Or maybe they really left without her hoping they would have a better chance of escaping without her. She shook her head, there was no need to dwell on that anymore.
Christine opened the book in her hands and laid down on her side facing the back of the couch and shut her eyes to rest before slowly letting her exhaustion pull her unconscious.

Location: Mount Justice
Batman stood looking at the briefing information he had given the team before they had gone on their mission. The Team had returned with his unconscious protege not too long ago. As the team gave their mission report, Black Canary took Robin to the medical bay. When the team finished their report, Batman had dismissed them, but he was unsatisfied. It seemed that the young heroes's report was incomplete to him, but they didn't even realize. Batman turned off the hologram screen, seeing as there was no information that was useful to him, and made his way toward med-bay to check up on his protege.

Its shorter but the subject matter of this chapter felt more organized alone than combined with the next chapter.
Also a double update! I hope it makes up a little bit for my absence.
I would really appreciate some feedback if you have a chance!
I do this for fun but that doesn't mean I don't want to improve!
