~

The Phantom lead Christine through a dark corridor before they came to the sewers below the opera house. They were approaching a boat that lay afloat by the waters edge. Her hand still in his, the Phantom lead her to the boat and assisted her into it. As she sat he stepped on behind her and grabbed the paddle and began to move the boat away from the edge.

"I have composed some new symphonies for my new opera and I made them specially for you and your abilities. You will begin to learn the tonight."

She sat there in silence hoping he had forgotten about those people that we so kind to her. He felt something swaying her away from him, so he decided to take matters into his own hands.

"I sense you are feeling sad mi amour, let me help you."

Christine shut her eyes tightly in fear as her hands started to tremble in her lap.

"Nighttime sharpens, heightens each sensation"

She felt his voice echo through her very being.

"Darkness stirs and wakes imagination"

The boat continued on it path, Christine began to see land that she knew all too well.

"Silently the senses abandon their defenses"

There was a pause, the boat stopped as is finally reached the Phantom's destination.

"Slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendor"

He jumped of the boat and then extended his hand to Christine, his control over her still continuing.

"Grasp it, sense it, tremulous and tender"

He assisted her off the boat and lead her into his lair.

Christine had only ever been down here a few times, the last time she was here was... Well she couldn't remember a lot of that night, the Phantom took those memories away for some reason. As the thought reached her mind she was able to fight of his control over her partially and she turned her head away towards the direction where they came from, wanting to go back.

"Turn your face away from the garish light of day"

He stopped short and forcefully grabbed her chin to face him. She could clearly see his white mask covering half his face, she could see the beginnings of scarred skin peaking at the edges. She knew there was something underneath that he hid, but what was it?

"Turn your face away from cold, unfeeling light"

Once again her own body felt as if it didn't belong to her. They continued to make their way through his lair passing by the desk with multiple monitors showing what his hidden cameras that could see all around the opera house. He let go of Christine and she felt her body move beside the grand piano as the phantom grabbed a pile of papers and placed them on the music stand.

"And listen to the music of the night."

He sat down on the bench and turned toward Christine.
