"Christine."
A soft voice sang without flaw, shattering the silence in the Rouge Opera House.
"Christine."
The voice repeated more sternly while still as angelic as before.
His voice awakened the girl and sent shivers down her spine as she lay in her bed. She felt the all too familiar pull tugging at her, pressuring her to get out of bed, to respond to the voice calling out to her. Her efforts to ignore the voice were futile as his control took over and she sat up from her bed.
"Angel of Music."
Her small voice sang out unwillingly followed by a yawn.
"Christine."
The manipulator sang out in a humored tone as his voice began to sound closer. The little girl rubbed her eyes as her door seemed to unlock itself and opened revealing a tall figure. A young boy, ten years older than the girl, approached the girl clad in her nightgown and smiled softly at the sleepy child.
"Oh Christine, mon chérie, I'm sorry to wake you at such a late hour, but this lesson couldn't wait." He said as he approached her small figure, legs dangling off the edge of the bed. He knelt down in front of her, giving her a shadowed view of his face.
"How about we wake up now?" He hummed.
The girl instantly became wide awake and the boy's grin widened.
"Now, how about you stand up and come walk with me." He hummed once again and instantly she slid off her bed and followed him out of her room. She held onto his hand as the waled down the corridors voluntarily. She looked up at the boy to see his white mask that covered a half of his face.
"Your training will not take long tonight." The young boy said reassuringly as the reached the backstage area of the theatre, "You'll be back in bed in no time I promise. Now, lets get to work mon chérie."
The boy led the little girl to the large stage that looked out to hundreds of empty chairs except for one. A man sat tied up in the front row looking around in fear. The young boy stretched his hand out in the mans direction and focus on the chair. He hummed a symphony that could take your breath away, making the chair detach from the ground and move itself on to the stage.
