Christine was scrambling trying to come up with some sort of strategy to at least stand a chance against Robin. The boy was trained by Batman himself, there was no way she would be able to outsmart him in combat without her manipulation powers.

"Hey, don't sweat it Trice, it's just training. Just give it your best and stay whelmed." Robin said encouragingly as he put a hand on Christine's shoulder. Her previously pale face heated up at his warm hand on her shoulder and at the new nickname. She briefly glanced up at him, giving him a small nod before he took his hand off of her shoulder and made his way to his position a few feet away from her.

"Begin." Batman stated.

It was a pretty slow start, Christine nor Robin went to make the first move. They began to move in a circular motion. Christine noticed the way Robin traveled through the sace, sidestepping slightly backwards, rolling toe-ball-heel through his feet. He definitely had some sort of art training to have such good articulation through his feet. He was also very muscular yet slim in his shoulders and arms, indicating some sort of acrobatics or gymnastics training? Maybe she could utilize her own acrobatic skills in this fight not only to see if it gives her some sort of upper hand but to show what she can do as well.

Making a split second decision, came at him with a cartwheel into a front-walkover to close some of the distance. Christine raised an eyebrow at the boy whose smirk turned into a full blown grin.

"Great," Kid Flash groaned from the side, "Now we have two of them."

Robin then made his move with multiple close contact attacks. Christine struggled to keep up but was somehow able to block him, though her form was slightly sloppy due to Robin's attack speed. As soon as she saw an opening, she grabbed ahold of the arm he had just attacked her with instead of blocking it and kicked him in the side, causing him to stumble. Christine then did a side aerial to create more distance between the two of them. Robin let out a short chuckle as he recovered from her blow.

"Definitely whelmed," he said. Confusion was etched on Christine's face before Robin suddenly came at her with a front-handspring. He went for a right hook and just as Christine blocked it Robin swiped his leg at Christine's leg that supported seventy-five percent of her weight causing her to be knocked off balance. At this opening Robin was able to grab ahold of her shoulders and press her to the ground while crouching over her with that same wide grin.

"You're good." Robin stated catching his breath still crouching over her as the icon on the floor indicated Christine as the loser. Christine could feel her ears burning as she caught her own breath, staring into the raven haired boy's domino mask. Robin then stood up and offered his hand to Christine to which she accepted.

"You're not so bad yourself." She signed in response earning a grin from him.

"Alright Team, now lets work on those maneuvers." Black Canary cut in proceeding with the training session.

"That is all for today, dismissed." Batman said before making his way towards the Zeta Tubes.

"Great job today Manipulatrice, I already see a substantial amount of improvement." Black Canary said with pride in her voice standing beside Christine.

"Improvement has been a necessity for me even before this." Christine signed in response. Black Canary gave her a sympathetic look before handing her a phone.
