He's That Guy Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

Anika's POV

This is a tragic story of a girl faithfully inlove with a boy out of her reach. And that girl is me. I'm Anika Yannah Cruz, Anika for short. Friends call me Yannah, Anika or Yan. Either of the three, accepted naman.

I'll tell you a secret. Actually, di na to secret 'cause I know, the whole student body will know this truth eventually. I'm inlove with this guy. He's not the typical one. HE'S ACTUALLY EXTINCT. *laughs* 

He's a hardcourt heartthrob! Idagdag pa dun ang pagiging school genius niya. My God! Isipin ko pa lang, naiinlove ako lalo.

His name's AJ. He's my ultimate crush since first year. 

So what makes my lovestory tragic? Hindi pa nga kasi ako nagcoconfess ng feelings ko, REJECTED NA KAAGAD AKO. Ang saklap di ba? 

AJ is quite popular kasi. No, not quite. He really is POPULAR. He cares for his reputation, he cares for his own good, in short, self-fish sya at may pagka-rude when it comes to girls. 

Halos lahat ng babae sa school, nagkakandarapa sa kanya. Pero siya, dedma lang. Wa epek. He rejects easily at ayaw niya sa panget. He's really mean. Totally rude. 

I don't know what made me love him this much. I'm secretly loving him for almost three years na. At kahit na-reject ako noon, hindi pa rin ako tumitigil. Umaasa ako, kahit 0% chance. That's the term, UMAASA. I'm dumb, I know.

Actually, we're both popular. ^_^ Yeah, as if naman. *laughs*

We're both famous.... but not in the same way. While he's the school's number one apple of the eye, ako naman ang...... you know, school clown?!

Yes, you heard it right. I'm the laughing stock. At three years ko na rin siyang tinitiis kasabay ng lihim kong paghanga sa kanya. Wala akong magawa dahil ayokong lumipat at mapalayo kay AJ.

I'm that desperate. Tinitiis ko ang pang-bubully nila para lang makapasok sa Xavierville Highschool. 

Hindi naman sa nagpapatawa ako, ginagawa lang nila akong katatawanan. It's been three years already. 

The whole student body makes fun of me, pero ang pinakamalala talaga, ang grupo ng "mean girls". That's what I call them. But they call theirselves  "Purple Chiqs". They love the color purple. Obvious ba?.

Sila talagang tatlo ang pinakamalala at pinakamadalas na mang-bully sa akin. They make my highschool life a living hell.!! *frowns*

Pinapahiya nila ako to the extent na hindi ko na talaga kaya!!!

"TAMA NA!!!!" I shouted. OMG! Hanggang panaginip nakikita ko ang mean girls. Nakakatakot na talaga sila. Hindi ba nila ako titigilan? Tama na please!

"Oh my, what's happening to her?"

"Basta- basta na lang siyang nagsisisigaw."

"Is she crazy?"

"Crazy Nerd needs her medicine Guys..!!" I heard them murmur then a second after, nagtawanan na silang lahat. Yeah, I forgot. Nasa school cafeteria nga pala ako. At nakalimutan ko ring nasa pinaka center table ako. Huhuhuh. T_T Kaya ang ending, kitang-kita nilang lahat ang kalokohan ko.

"So stupid, Anika!!" sabi ko nang mahina sabay batok sa ulo ko. Why, of all places sa cafeteria pa ako makakatulog at sa gitna pa ng mga taong to.? So stupid >.<

Tinignan ko lang sila ng masama, and in a while, tumigil na rin sila. Tinanggal ko muna ang eye glasses ko para punasan dahil medyo nanlalabo ang paningin ko. I forgot to remove it when I fell asleep.
