I look at the clock and it reads 4:00am

forget it

I hop out of bed and get ready for the day , the day that is my first day of school . not to mention my first day at a completely new school . my parents and I were born in korea but I moved to america because of their business . although I spoke english , at home only korean was spoken . I never understood why until my parents sent me korea to study .

alone .

everything was paid for and I get a heavy allowance monthly . I was upset with it at first but living alone was proving to be okay .

I grab a granola bar and head out the door . it was my second to the last year of high school and I did a good amount of research about the traditions and common life in korea . confidently I head to school and hope for the best

as I'm heading to school my confidence level dropped dramatically .

what if they don't like me ? what if I accidentally do something insulting or embarrassing ? what if I can't make friends ?

with a little less confidence I enter the schools entrance

locker 403 ... YES THERE IT IS !! at least I got through the first task of the day ..

I get what I need and close my locker . when I turn around I bump into someone and all my stuff drops out of my arms .

crap

I start to pick up my things when someone grabs my shoulders and slams me against the lockers . I look up and see a boy with a cold stare

" watch were you're going " he says

" you're the one that bumped into me " I rolled my eyes

" you're in for a real treat " he says as he releases me and I massage my shoulders

he walks off and someone runs up to me

" oh my gosh !! are you okay !?!!?! .... wait I've never seen you before " she says looking at me with concern

" hi .. I'm lydia .. I'm sorta new here ...." I say shyly

" ohh no wonder " she says " you must be new because the person you're dealing with was .. " she trails off

" yeah who is he ? " I ask

" that's ... kim taehyung " she says with a little bit of fear and adds " he's not someone to mess with trust me .. he's a total girl magnet he always gets into fights . "

what the hell do girls see in him .. ?? well I guess he was kinda cute , but that's just his pretty face he's such a jerk

" let's walk , hey wait I didn't get your name " I said to her

" ohh my name's rylee " she tells me with a smile

yay I finally have a friend ! .. I think

we start walking but then the bell rings .

" you here ? " she points to a class

I check my schedule

" yeah actually "

" yay ! this is my class "

we find a seat next to each other . the teacher comes in and greets us . while going over the basic first day stuff the door opens and someone comes in

" you're late kim taehyung " the teacher sighs " sit over there "

he points to the empty seat next to me
