Chapter 12

"What was I supposed to do?" Niall yelled back at me.

"Maybe you could have told me" I yelled back at him. My throat hurt from all the shouting but I didn't care.

"Then I'd be loosing my best friend."

"Louis doesn't even act like a best friend to you so why do you care so much about him. He's probably just using you for your big house and all the parties you invite him to. He doesn't really give a shit about you but you're just to stupid to see that. When has he ever said to you he's grateful for you being a good friend? Exactly he hasn't because he doesn't care about you." I yelled back. As soon as I said it I covered my mouth, I wanted to take back the words. I could tell I'd hurt him really hurt him because he was silent.

"I'm sorry" I quickly said "I should go now" I picked up my bag and ran down the stairs and out the door.

I felt so bad, I wanted to get back at him for not telling me. Then I thought about if I was in his situation I wouldn't know what to do.

I knew everyone would be talking about the party on Saturday at College. Even the people who didn't go to the party would probably know because of big mouth Matt. I felt so embarrassed that everyone would know that Louis cheated on me. They probably would laugh at me or think it was funny than feel sorry for me.

I walked to school by myself I didn't want to speak to Harry I hadn't seen him since the party. He didn't even text me to see if I was alright.

I was dreading going into form and seeing everyone especially Niall. I knew that he probably hated me and would never want to talk to me again.

As I walked through college gates I could feel my heart beat faster. I knew that I would be the talk of the college but not for a good reason.

Niall was already sitting down in form in his usual seat. He was on his phone so didn't notice me walk straight past him and sit on a table by myself. I pulled the chair out and dumped my bag on the floor which made a loud thud.

I had expected Niall to turn around to see what the noise was but whatever he was doing on his phone was more interesting. I wondered if he was texting Sarah his slut of a girlfriend. It annoyed me why he would choose someone like her. I was jealous of Sarah as she seemed to get every guy she wanted even ones who already had girlfriends.

The bell ran which interrupted me from my depressing thoughts. As I walked out the door I spotted Niall we made eye contact for a brief second then he looked away.

"I heard about what happened on Saturday. Louis is such an idiot you're better off without him." Amy said during sociology, I knew that she was trying to make me feel better but she made me feel worse.

"I know that's what everyones saying" I replied.

"I knew Louis was like that all along you should have listened to me" Zayn said interrupting the conversation.

"Yes but you only said that because you wanted me back." I snapped back at him.

"Yeah but I was looking out for you at the same time."

"Are you two ever going to talk?" Andy asked me.

"Yes when he stops giving me death glares" I whispered so Joe couldn't hear me.

He shook his head at me "You're both as bad as each other. You're acting like children."

"Well I am technically still a child he's the adult so why should I talk to him first."

"To show you're the better person" Andy replied, I almost wanted to laugh at his statement but I didn't want to offend him.

"You were right" I said to Joe.

"What?" he said me and looked up from his phone. I was actually surprised that he listened to me.

"About Louis, he wasn't worth my time. He cheated on me."

"Oh" was all he said.

"Is that all you're going to say. You don't even sound surprised."

"That's because I'm not. I told you before you're better off without him so why would I be surprised?" He asked me.

"You're so annoying" I huffed and walked out the room. I heard him laugh afterwards.

I was glad that everything was back to normal.
