Chapter 18

Louis' POV:

*flashback*

"You should come to my cousins party tonight it's gonna be great" Niall said to me.

"Yeah sure got nothing better to do" I knew that my evening would probably be spent having to play some stupid game with Ella and anything was better than that.

"So if you had something better to do you wouldn't come?" he sounded sad, he should have been used to me offending him but he obviously wasn't.

"Well yeah but what's better than getting smashed at a party with your best friend." I said and he smiled.

Lexi came into the common room with a big smile on her face. Her hair was perfectly straight which was different to her normal wavy hair.

"Hey babe" I said hugging her and I kissed her on the cheek. I could hear Niall pretending to be sick in the background.

"Shut up I need to find you a girlfriend and we'll see how you act around her. Actually you probably wouldn't know what to do seeing as you've never had a girlfriend before" Niall went bright red.

"Louis" Lexi whined "Stop being so mean" she playfully hit my arm. I found it adorable when she got mad at me which made me want to wind up Niall even more.

"You're face is so red I bet you could boil a kettle on it" Niall went even more red.

"Louis" Lexi said again and hit my arm harder.

"Its ok I'm used to him it's just his weird personality I don't know what you see in him Lexi" I glared at Niall to shut him up I knew exactly what he was talking about, the bet.

Matt may have dared me to ask Lexi out and I agreed. But I really did like her the bet actually gave me the courage to ask her out. None of the other lads knew I liked her. As money was involved it kinda have me the push I needed to ask her out. I felt guilty about it now and I knew that if she ever found out it would probably be the end of us. I hoped that when she did find out we'd be so far into our relationship it wouldn't really matter. It sounded really stupid and pathetic thinking about it but it was all the hope I had.

"I love his personality" Lexi said sticking up for me.

"Pass me another drink" I yelled at Niall.

"No you've had too many it's only 9"  so I glared at him, he was being all boring and sensible drinking slowly do he didn't get smashed quickly. Whereas on the other hand  I wanted to see how quickly I could get smashed.

"What are you two doing here?" I heard a loud familiar voice say and I turned round and it was Joe.

I had always hated Joe for some reason I had got the impression that he didn't like me.

"Drinking" I mumbled. I had s feeling he was judging me for being with his sister. It felt like he was trying to find any little thing wrong with me to spilt us up.

"Well don't you go talking to any girls I'm watching you" he said and walked off.

"Dickhead" I mumbled under my breath so Joe couldn't hear and Niall burst into fits of laughter. Joe looked back at us then carried on walking.

"You see that girl over there?" Niall said poiniting to a brunette with her back to us "Do you think she likes me? She keeps turning round and looking at us"
