Chapter 27

Lexi's POV:

I couldn't sleep that night because I was too busy thinking about Liam. Everything had happened so quickly. It felt weird to have a boyfriend again less than 2 months since I'd broken up with Louis. I still didn't feel completely over Louis. I knew that I would take me a while to figure out everything in my head.

I was worried about what everyone would think when they found out about me and Liam. I hoped people wouldn't think he was my rebound which was completely not the case. I knew that I didn't want my brothers to find out so soon especially Joe. Even though Andy and Liam are best friends I knew that Andy wouldn't care about it as much as Joe would. I didn't want Joe to go into overprotective brother mode again.

Liam offered to pick me up on the way to school. So I sat in the front room waiting to see his car outside.

Liam arrived exactly on time which I thought was quite impressive. It felt like there was a million butterflies in my stomach. He gave me his usual hi when I came in the car.

"When do you think we should tell people about us? Liam asked.

"We could tell a few of our friends but make them keep quiet about it. You definitely can't tell my brothers especially Joe"

"Ok, I won't" he chuckled. "So we just pretend that were friends at college?"

"Yeah" I felt bad that we had to hide our relationship but we both knew it would work out better that way. "Imagine if Louis found out he'd just cause and problems" I said to try and make things better.

"Yeah" Liam agreed but something annoy the tone in his voice sounded different.

"What's wrong?" I asked him, I thought that he was upset that we went going to tell everyone about us.

"Nothing" he quickly replied which made me more suspicious about what was bothering him.

We had arrived at college but I wasn't planning on going to form until I got answers from Liam.

"I don't believe you" I said as I slammed shut the car door, he looked down to the floor trying to avoid my eyes.

"There's seriously nothing wrong" he assured me "Give me a hug before to go to form"

"Bye" I have him a quick hug and made my way to form. I knew it was already 9am which meant my form tutor would be taking the register. I would take me at least 5 minutes to walk across the college grounds to my form.

I quickly text Niall to cover for me so I wouldn't get a late mark. I knew that he probably wouldn't be looking at his phone but it was worth a try.

I slipped into into my usual seat next to Niall. Our form tutor was nowhere to be seen. Niall didn't even notice I had arrived as he was having a conversion with Matt. I'd never liked Matt but for some reason I didn't mind him as much now. If it wasn't for his stupid game of never have I ever I wouldn't have found out the real reason why Louis broke up with me.

Matt finally moved back to his original seat which meant I could tell Niall about Sarah. I wasn't really sure why I was telling him seeing as I knew he probably wouldn't care.

"I saw Sarah yesterday" he immediately frowned.

"Oh" Niall commented, I could see in his eyes that he didn't want talk about her.

"She tried to speak to me so we left the coffee shop and then she ran after me and tried to apologise"

"Who were you with?" he asked and I mentally wanted to punch myself for being so stupid.

"A friend" I mumbled hoping he would accept my answer.

"Who"

The bell rang which literally saved me "Gotta go to psychology bye" I said and rushed out of the classroom. He narrowed his eyes at my weirdness but in knew he'd probably forget about the whole thing before he could ask me again.

As soon as I walked into psychology Harry was already sitting down. His hair looked even more of a complete mess than usual. It looked like he'd literally rolled out of bed 5 minutes ago.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" he snapped "I only woke up like 10 minutes ago" my judgment wasn't far off.

"Why would I wake you up?" I asked generally confused.

"To walk to college" he stated "Can't believe you abandoned me" he wouldn't stop scowling. I completely forgot about Harry when Liam offered me a lift.

Zayn walked in just on time for the lesson to start. He always made sure that he looked perfect for college. His hair was styled into a perfect quiff with about a can of hair spray in so it didn't fall down.

"I'll explain to you later" I mumbled.

"Why can't you explain now?" He snapped, he was way more pissed off than he usually was in the morning.

"I will explain later" I repeated.

"Fine" Harry huffed.

The rest of psychology was spent actually doing our work since no one was in the mood to talk to each other. At the end of the lesson Harry walked in the opposite direction to the common room for break.

"Wait" I called after him and he actually stopped.

"What?" he grumbled.

"The reason why I didn't want to explain was because Zayn was listening. Liam picked me up I completely forgot about you sorry" I admitted, he narrowed his eyes as he was processing what I'd just said. 

"Why did Liam pick you up?" he questioned.

"Because we're going out" I quietly spoke so no one in the corridor could hear me.

"What the fuck, how did I not see this coming, since when"

"Yesterday"

"I knew it would happen" he said smiling to himself.

"You just said you didn't see this happening"

"Yeah so soon. I knew he liked you though" Harry stated, he was being really confusing.

"Yeah but don't tell anyone, especially my brothers or Louis. I need to go and find Charlie to tell her."

"I won't" He assured me, I trusted Harry but I knew he was the kind of person to accidentally blurt out something. So I was unsure of how long it would be till everyone found out.

I went to the common room to find Charlie who was sitting on our usual table on her phone.

As soon as I sat down she said "So when were you going to tell me"

"About what"

"You and Liam" She spoke a bit too loud.

"I was just about to tell you. How did you find out?" I didn't think Harry would have been so quick to say but I didn't know who else would have told her.

"Rory just came up to me and joked about me and him going on a double date with you and Liam" she looked so pissed off at me, I knew that I would have felt the same if I was too find out from someone else if I was in her situation.

"Sorry I was just about to tell you I know I should have told you about it before" I looked at her with puppy eyes until her frown turned into a smile.

"So when are we going on this double date?" She asked

"Never going to happen" I said making us both laugh.
